In the overtime periods Wesley ran some quick pitches outside the tackles and it opened up some lanes for  E Js.
Del Vals defense does deserve some of the credit. Just as Wesleys defense does. But if Wesley is going to win the NJAC
the QB position needs to improve. It was difficult to see across the field from my seat if the receivers
were open but some of the passes were no close
Hopefully the accuracy gets better.

14-0 Endicott. Defense looking slow. Yikes.

thewaterboy

Wow. Still 14-0. Wesley's offense looks really bad.

At Halftime
The College of New Jersey @ St. John Fisher ... TCNJ leads 16-5 (Wow!)
Rowan @ Hobart ... Rowan leads 10-3 at halftime. Profs should be up 10-0, but a late penalty allows Hobart to sneak in a FG before halftime.
Wesley @ Endicott ... Endicott leads 17-0 at halftime
Go Rowan! Brown & Gold!

Well really it should be 3-0 but for a (one of many) horrid snap on a punt (after a bad call ina. Completion.  Barely was able to get 6-7yds in three plays for that TD.  Just a bad offensive game on both sides.  I've been skeptical of our QB but he's just floating everything and needs to be Replaced.

Game over Rowan wins,  DeWall outcaoched and refuses to put
In second QB who can play.

Well it's a win. Great fight in the 2nd half. Aside from the first two series of the game, the defense was great! Really a tale of two halves. At halftime, I was scratching my head... the offense looked ineffective and predictable. Then, they came out in the second half and looked like a totally different team.

The move to Mullin really seemed to pay off. He needs to work on his touch, and he is not as refined as some other Wesley QBs we have had, but like I said during the week, I don't think Marrocco is the answer. Ruhann Peele came up huge with some big time catches late.

How good was the defense? They gave up 161 yards of offense in the final 3 quarters of the game... and just 63 yards in the second half. Impressive.

I spoke too soon, tough trip home for Rowan, they played hard, just don't have enough on offense.

Doesn't look like it worked out for any of those teams that were leading.

Wesley 20 - Endicott 17
Fisher 40 - TCNJ 16
Hobart 20 - Rowan 17

If Hobart's QB is more accurate then they blow Rowan away.  Rowan did play well enough to keep the game close, but they didn't have enough mustard in the 2nd half to close out the game.  They committed way too many penalties against a quality opponent - and it cost them a Win.  Tough tough game for the Profs.

Observation: I love Rehm, but he needs to be smart on Kick Returns.  Several times this season he has unsuccessfully attempted returns from the end zone causing poor field position.  I know he's an All American KR, but teams are ready for him this season!

Rowan came out tough and won the trenches in the first half. The Profs will cause some damage in the NJAC if they can eliminate penalties . Hobart turned the line pf scrimmage battle around as the DLine rotation helped on a very hot day and the Oline figured things out better in second half. Although Hoffman had 390 yards it was not an accurate day as he was bailed out by WRs who made some great grabs. The weather was perfect passing weather , so it looked like DeWall play calling reflected that , plus some catchup after going down . Hobart Defense stiffened after Rowan went up 17- 3 early in the second half, and really won the game with big stops. Rowan is a hard heating team but Hobart did not back off. Good luck to Rowan in the NJAC race, based on Wesley performance  today , you have a shot. It will be interesting to see how Montclair looks next week in comparison.
