Just got back from work.  I caught the Wesley score when it was 17-6 in the 4th quarter and was stunned.  Obviously, Marrocco and the offense broke down in the first half and as stunned as I was at the lack of numbers, I was watching the live stats with 6 seconds to go and equally stunned to see that Wesley was about to kick a fieldgoal to win the game.  Mullin definitely stepped up in a big way with 2 TD passes and over 250 passing yards.  Wesley ended up with over 400 yards of offense, so all is not lost by any means, but........    Anyways, at least the Wesley offense woke up in time to squeak this one out and with a bye week this next week, a lot of work in store!  Salisbury won't be as accommodating.....

I spoke too soon, tough trip home for Rowan, they played hard, just don't have enough on offense.
If Hobart's QB is more accurate then they blow Rowan away.  Rowan did play well enough to keep the game close, but they didn't have enough mustard in the 2nd half to close out the game.  They committed way too many penalties against a quality opponent - and it cost them a Win.  Tough tough game for the Profs.

Observation: I love Rehm, but he needs to be smart on Kick Returns.  Several times this season he has unsuccessfully attempted returns from the end zone causing poor field position.  I know he's an All American KR, but teams are ready for him this season!

It was painful watching all he overthrows, even on quick outs and bubble screens.  He's been known to float long passes w too much air, but Jesus if it wasn't for our WRs making highlight reel catch after catch.  And it was perfect passing weather.  I know the backup can play.  About 12 shotgun snaps to the ground didn't help and your one de was just pinning his ears back all day.  Still, makes up for us losing the 06 playoff game late after going for 2 instead of the tie with maybe 1:30 left before you guys got back into FG range and beat us last second.

Doesn't make my prediction for them going 7-2 this season look good. Not sure what's happened as they brought back a lot of experience, plus extra practice time in the preseason given the CAN trip. Hopefully the Capts can figure things out and avoid a losing season. Both they and BSU from the MASCAC are my biggest whiffs this year.

We have 2 weeks to figure things out and make changes. The offense is sputtering and placing too much pressure on our D. Our D is on the field too much. The O can't find a rhythm and is so predictable it's scary. You're right. We have a lot of talent that returned. I just don't think the offensive scheme is utilizing our talent.  The OC needs to figure it out!

This applies to Rowan too... Prof's offense has been so predictable for the last 4 years smh
Go Rowan! Brown & Gold!

Salisbury had an awesome week against "Bye". I know there were some minor injuries, hopefully the players are healed. I hoping this extra week was used to evaluate some guys that has played better than expected throughout the first two weeks and guys that haven't take a step back, especially in the Secondary. Also, looking for more wrinkles in the offense that will allow them to closeout games better with clock management and utilizing what looks to be a good group of receivers. I assume this preparation for Montclair will be similar to preparing for a 1st game of the season matchup...

Weird having an entire conference take a bye week at the same time.  How times have changed......

A big 2 weeks coming up for the Red Hawks. Hobart then Salisbury. Time for the Red Hawks to make a statement. We will see.

Red Hawks are coming to Hobart's Boswell field during Fall Weekend....we didn't even have a football game last year, so very honored to have a Football representative from the NJAC for the festivities. It should be a great game to measure the conferences early in the season. The Statesmen have been getting off to slow starts the last couple of weeks, hopefully the trend will change. Have a nice drive to the Finger Lakes if visiting ....buy some wine and help the economy ;D
