They usually do... I don't see a link though. Maybe there will be one later this week. I know today's field hockey game was broadcasted.

As far as I know they should be broadcasting it....the WDEL radio crew is second to none.

I'm super interested in these games this upcoming week. With Salisbury having nearly 3 weeks off facing off against a different opponent, I know they are going to be very anxious to play. However, will they be too anxious and come out with "1st" game jitters against a solid Montclair State team. I'm throwing Montclair's record out the window as this will be their first home game of the season and although their loss to SVA doesn't look to good no more, they were a few turnovers a way from making it a game and actually winning. Also, let's not forget they were a fg away from winning at Salisbury a year ago. Overall for Salisbury, I'm expecting the Defense to have shored up the back 4 and the offense to had practice on some new plays, especially for what appears to be a talented receiving corps.

Regarding the other games, William Patterson appears to be on the up and up. Not going to jump on the bandwagon yet until they play some of the better teams. Then there is the Wesley v. Rowan game (our next two opponents over after Montclair State), I'm always curious to see Wesley play as they are our big Rival, but Rowan has been one of the few teams in region to have beaten Wesley more than once over a 4/5 year period. I'd expect that game to be very close or a big win by Wesley coming off their bye-week. Lastly, there is the CNU v. Kean game, not sure what's going on down CNU, but whatever is going on, they need to get it fixed, hopefully the bye-week helps them. Kean got into the win column last week, albeit vs Dean, but a win is a win. If they can find offensive rhythm, it will take some pressure off their defense. I think this game goes into OT.

Here are my 2 cents below.

Game 1. Hobart had success running against MSU, this should be good news for Salisbury.  I'd say the edge here goes to Salisbury since MSU has had turnover issues the last few games. Hard to beat a triple option team if turnover the ball too much.

Game 2. I watched a good part of the Dean/Kean game and I'd say Dean did more to lose the game versus Kean being dominant. However, I think Kean might have the edge here as the home team ... also CNU is still trying to find consistency.

Game 3. Kudos to WPU for winning some games this season, but they will not find victory so easy against the other NJAC teams. Edge goes to TCNJ in this game, they simply have more talent and experience.

Game 4. Rowan opens their NJAC schedule against the king of the hill in the NJAC, Wesley. Wesley has all the firepower and size to dominate the NJAC, but if one team has been a thorn in Wesley's dominance, it has been Rowan. I think Rowan is a stronger team in 2019, but they have struggled with consistency and turnovers this season. The Profs beat Wesley last year in front of a homecoming crowd, however, I say the edge goes to Wesley since they have proven to be able to come away from tight games with the victory.

For Wesley, it'll come down to QB play. They are better defensively than last season, and they still have the skill guys to make an impact. Mullin is going to start Saturday and if he can be as effective as he was against Endicott, then Wesley will be tough to stop... but you saw the other half of that coin in 4 quarters of scoreless action against Del Val and 2 scoreless quarters against Endicott. Wesley had subpar QB play from Marrocco (and partially Mullin) and literally could not move the ball. It'll be Mullin's first start of the season. Based on a few throws at Endicott and Del Val, he has some polishing to do...

Not that it counts for much, but it is also Wesley's home opener.

Teamski

...yeah but Wesley's QB's have protected the ball.  A single interception in 3 games is pretty good at this point.  I'm not biting my nails off every time they pass the ball or run with it.  Trust me, the relative lack of turnovers have saved these games for Wesley as close as they are.....

Do you think they can turn things around against Kean?  It's a 6.5 hour drive so I think that might impact the traveling team.

That is so difficult to answer. I just don't know. I'm perplexed. There isn't just one thing to point to that would explain things. Pretty much the same team. Even the D last year was #8 in nation. This year #151 in Total Defense. I just don't know.

Totally agree. In fact, I think the relative lack of turnovers is the reason Wesley is 3-0. Had it been last year.... maybe 1-2? Who knows? That said, I am still not entirely sold on the QBs we have seen this year. Marrocco looks adequate, but wont exactly win you many big games. He was unable to get the offense in the endzone in 6 quarters of football, and Mullin has to prove he's the real deal. He seems like a less polished McSweeny type.

Also give credit where credit is due: Nick Bruhn is 5-6 on FGs including the gamewinner against Endicott. He was 4-10 last year.

Thank you for the info on the OAC board regarding the death of Troy Haynes.

I hadn't heard about him before your story. He certainly sounds like the type of person anyone would be proud of.
It's always so sad when we lose one of our young people. All of us have been robbed of his life. When something like this happens, I feel like every team in the country lost a player.
My sincere condolences to his family. My prayers are with you in this difficult time.

May Troy Haynes rest in eternal peace. ✝
I'm old! I get mixed up and I forget things! Go Everybody! 🏈 ☠

Based on what I saw of Rowan and the struggles of the Wesley offense I think they will have trouble reaching 20 against Rowan.  Hopefully the defense can keep a struggling Rowan offense in the teens also.  At least the weather, temp wise, will be good for football this weekend.
