Well.....the good news for me is.....I didn't really care about the game. My daughter got married Saturday!!!

The bad news....I think CNU just hit the point where we can officially say...we suck!

Now I'm going back to work!

Cheers!

That's putting it mildly...what the hell happened?

Who the heck knows? Never been 0-4 before.  Don't know what the locker room or team chemistry is like. Not sure about the chemistry between players and coaches. The seniors are the last recruiting class of Kelchner. So many unknowns. When you lose to a team that went 1-9 last year and you were 7-2, with loses in OT and the vast majority of the team returning...there's some serious issues! I have no clue! just guesses and frustration. We will have our 2nd losing season in program history,

As weird as it may be, I still could see CNU winning a game against teams at the top currently.
I was convinced CNU would have a phenemenal year especially with all the investment in spring camp and the Canada trip.

Same here....7-2 last year (although we didn't  play Frostburg), both losses in OT, many returning players in key positions.....another year under the new coaching system/staff, the Canada trip.

Who knows, maybe the Canada trip created a bond that will be what gets the team through the current situation. I'm leaving the country for a few weeks on Saturday, so it will be interesting to see the record when I return. Maybe I will follow the game on the plane Saturday.

Not sure what happened with the team, but enjoy the trip down under.

Weather looks to be good at a high of 74. Looking forward to a big turnout this year as both teams are rank in the Top 15.

Big games this upcoming week in the NJAC.

Salisbury v. Wesley - Route 13 Rivalry - De facto Conference Championship???
Rowan v. Kean - Is Rowan the best 0-4 team in all of DIII? Can Rowan get into the win column? Can Kean continue it's win streak, they still control their own destiny.
CNU v. William Patterson - CNU still winless  ???, do they get into the win column? WP took a small step backwards last week, winning this week will put them in a position they haven't been since 2013.
TCNJ v. Montclair State - TCNJ has had a tough schedule thus far. Having played teams holding a combined 12-2 record. Close win over improving WP. Can Montclair State rebound after back-to-back losses in games that they could have won.

Oddly enough with the way both Salisbury and Wesley have played over the last week, they both appear vulnerable to take a loss, which indicates that Rowan, Montclair State, TCNJ, and Kean have good chances to make statements.

I'm confident Rowan is ready to play again, but they need to start fast and make a statement on Homecoming against Kean.
Go Rowan! Brown & Gold!

Rowan played tough to the end.  Feel bad for the Rowan lineman who had a really bad leg injury.  I hope he does well in his recovery.  Wesley's defense saves the day once again having to compensate for offensive miscues. Two goal line stands to go with the win.  The game would have been more in Wesley's  favor if the offense didn't fumble the ball into their own endzone gifting a TD to Rowan in the 4th.  Got to see Joe Callahan after the game which as a treat.

Need to stick with Mullin to get stability into the offense.

Callahan sat right behind me during the game.
My son told me about the Rowan players leg, said during the tackle he heard it break twice that was the reason he ran off the field calling for the Medical trainer.
Hoping for a speedy recovery for the young man
Pryce Bouchard was the injured player and suffered a dislocated ankle. During the radio coaches show last night, Coach Accorsi mentioned that Wesley's President visited the Bouchard in the hospital. A lot of respect from Prof Nation for this gesture, Wesley is a top class group.

I'm hoping Bouchard has a speedy recovery. He's a rare out-of-state recruit who jumped a lot of experienced guys to start at center. Hope he returns next season.
Go Rowan! Brown & Gold!

CNU will start a freshman QB. A big kid at 6'3 200lbs. He was starter on a 6A state powerhouse at Ocean Lakes in Va Beach. He was 23-3 last 2 years. Wish I could be there to watch his debut. Wish the young man the best!
