QuoteYou didn't accomplish anything that SJ Fisher, Union, Cortland, TCNJ, or a handful of other teams could not have accomplished given a Pool C invite.

well that's a great 'IF' theory, but as for 2003, there was no IF. RPI went gutless, stole a playoff bid, and then won their bracket. Does that mean they didn't belong? If you want to take shots, maybe that #1 seed in '01 was unjustified (and by maybe I mean definetly).

So.... no more IF comments, and the worst part is that I started it. Apologies across the board.

Well we know for a fact that Ithaca would have won in 2003 __ it didnt snow....

but seriously, the curry win and Ithaca wins werent impressive in 2003 but beating that springfield team at springfield was a shock to me thats for sure.  RPI proved that they were the top team in the east that year.

Please send the case of kleenex that you had earmarked for me to Enginegro.  As you certainly have discerned by now, I never really needed it in the first place.  You were just being the old kidder that you are, right? ;)

Thank you for your kind thoughts but I think it would be more appropriate and appreciated by Enginegro.

If Gro knows he's getting to you, he's not going to leave.  Plus he has friends.  They like to tease people that take football too seriously.

Frankly I think he's just warming up.

Knightstalker

I'm hoping he is just warming up, those guys help you get through some boring days at work.

RUFan,

Bored engineers become quite the witty wordsmiths, especially after they are done sticking pencils in the ceiling at work.

Knightstalker

Of course they could always go to the cafeteria and see how many butter patties they can stick to the ceiling using a soup spoon as a catapault.

speaking of butter patties, Did rowan's equipment manager wash the uni's in a tub of butter?
