MSUredhawk--  Doubt it!  Rowan would probably go ahead of MSU, even if they were considered, but I'm not sure!!  Rowan has to win next week to make the NCAA's for sure!!

Phil-- Congrats to the TCNJ women's soccer team on their championship.  Isn't TCNJ an all girl school yet!! ;D  I love these folks who think the NJAC is weak.  That's why lil' Willy P has beaten TWO of the "east" regionally ranked teams!

cstater

anyone know the tie breaker in this case..... rowan's in with a win, because of overall or head-to-head??

LETS GO MIGHTY RED HAWKS!!... MSU has a few more fans this week residing in central NY!!

ACMob

cstate- if rowan wins they are in--  one loss cstate, one loss rowan, msu two losses; head to head -- RU

if rowan loses-- one loss cstate, one loss msu, two losses rowan; head to head --cstate.

There will be no more three way tie thanks to WP!!

msuredhawk

so lets just say we beat rowan next week and ithica beats cortland, there is pretty much no chance we will get a pool c??? that sux we would have one loss in the njac and two wins over top 25 teams and still nothing :(wow

The problem is there are too many one loss teams in the pool "c."  Losing to Frostburg is what really hurts MSU chances!!

Rowan would have two losses and they probably are out!

msuredhawk

k well what if rowan didn't lose to willp and we beat rowan next week do you think we would of had a better chance

Dr. xGSC, JT, ACMob, & RUFan,

You guys are killing me.  :(AC & RU, fairy tales did come true for Willy P. I was at the game, got home and had to cut my grass out of frustration. The NJAC is history for Montclair, so all we have left is to go to Glassboro, win and hope for an ECAC bid. Sat with some coaches and players and we were rooting for Rowan at the end. Figure that one out. ??? Well down to the game. Rowan was no beast today. Silva and Wright are 2 monster WR's with speed, #3 is a good back and the run defense is good. Rowan looked very beatable today. Here's to a great week of pratice, a win in Glassboro and hopefully an ECAC bid. I bet Cortland has become a MSU fan now. What do you say Dan. ;)
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

Just got back from " Bill on a Hill".  It was a great game to watch as a football fan! But as a Rowan fan, it was pure missery.  The rowan offense and coaches play calling basically handed Willy P one of thier programs best wins.  The QB must have overthrown his recievers that were  wide open on many occasions at least 7 or 8 times.  Not to mention the 5 or 6 ducks that were just waiting to be picked off.  As far as play calling went,  on just about every single second down and long situation  it is basically a guarantee that the profs are going to run the draw.  Poor clock management at the end and a careless timeout for a punt formation at the beginning of the second half didn't help.  This team was not well coached today.  Unless the coaches make some personell changes or become a primary running team(which I believe they can do) This Rowan team which is loaded with talent will not make much of an impact if they make the playoffs at all. :'(

My hat goes off to the Willy P players.

JT

Just got back.  Well Miello's and Stinson's HS teams usually wouldn't beat themselves.  That's what happened today.  WPU didn't play great football, but they didn't make many mistakes and they capitalized on Prof mistakes.

Worst officiated game I've seen this year to the Pioneers advantage.  Certainly put points on the board for WPU and probably took points away from Rowan.

Good teams have to overcome bad officiating.  I didn't feel a sense of urgency among the players... disbelief yes... but not real urgency till the end.  It was kinda like Rowan was waiting for the switch to flip on and it didn't really happen.

Defense played well, offense stunk up the joint.

Everyone is up for the Profs and I guess the Profs aren't always up for every team.

JT

Pat,

I sent you a Willy P celebation pic.

rowanlb92

JT,
Your so politacally correct. ;D

I wonder what you would say behind closed doors.  I think you know what I mean ;)

dragonflyer

C-State, you know what you have to do now... let's get it done!!!!

The last 2 years I have seen more fumbles then I saw the previous 2 years? Clock management by Rowan U. is without a doubt bad. Why can't the Rowan OC realize to play the strength of  his team.  Run the ball! I forgot they are throwing team. Regroup! Win the NJAC. Rowan OC come back to earth and win the NJAC. Who is the RB coach? Need to work on securing the football. Say it again to many fumbles and turnovers!

msuredhawk

I gotta say thats bull****.... msu is playing serious ball right now if  we beat rowan we deserve some serious consideration to go to the playoffs.... Damn rowan totaly screwed us by loosing to one of the softest teams I have ever played against willy p can't believe this happend...wow I am in complete shock right now....... 2 teams deserve to go to the ncaa from our conference... and if and when we beat Rowan I think we should get a pool c... those teams from upstate ny with the exception of ithica would get smoked in our conference so pissed right now don't even no what to do!!!!!!

JT

rowanlb92,

There are a few things on my mind yes. :)
