Would Pope Z I be like one of those worldly, earthy Renaissance prelates?

Viva il Papa!

Seeing as how we are playing Rowan this week, it brought back memories of maybe your greatest alumnae of all, DINO HALL.  I just read an article from last year on Clevelandbrowns.com about him.  What a player.  I can remember thinking that is one tough guy to do what he did.  Seems he was a pretty decent baseball player too.   :)  We Browns fans will never forget him.

When was the last time there was an Italian Pope? He would get my vote though.

What's with my -6 karma. I've been a good boy of late...... ???

skunks,

I've been trying to set up an interview with Dino for a couple of years now.  I'll try to make it a higher priority after the season.

bman how do you know what his aspirations are? do you know that he has already coached in div I-A? If he can get a off coordinator position in div I-A in the big 10 i say go for it...i dont see ol' coach kasey at that level and I dont see top notch div I-A programs beating down your current coaches doors either...p.s. good luck this weekend.

First  I am a MAC guy, not a NJAC guy
Second I don't know what his aspirations are...but your right...that doesn't matter...It was an assanine and classless thing to say regardless of what he wants to do in the future...and don't give me that heat of the moment crap either....
You didn't see Keeler trashing the BWater program after one of the most heartbreaking losses in history....

Hey Warren, who you callin' a "prelate?"  The last time I had thoughts of prelations was over 3 years ago, so I'm covered.

I can assure you all.....Pope Z  would be very convincing...I'd make 'em an offer they couldn't refuse.

PBR...

what is classless about answering a direct question? oh i forgot we all should pooh pooh it like andy reid and never answer a question directly. its amazing to me people yell at coaches for not answering direct questions but when they do give their honest opinion people slam them....its a no win situation maybe we should just do away with press conferences since coaches will always be blasted no matter how they answer them.

Hi JT,

I hope to have a chance to meet you in person this weekend!
BW-3 Friday night?  What's your plans???

You're right.  Let's abolish all post-game press conferences.  Who cares why they think they lost.  If you have any knowledge of the game and were there, you already know why they lost.

Andy Reid - an embarrassment at a press conference ...  that is if you can even make out what he is mumbling about.  Says the same thing every time ... yeah, we're going to work on that this week and get better.  Duuuuhhhhh.  You should have worked on that last week and the week before and the week before that and maybe you wouldn't have lost. Does he have a clue?  I didn't see the Eagles game last night or see Reid's press conference but I'll bet it was interesting.  Wait, let me guess what he mumbled .... yeah, we're going to work on that this week and get better! ???

Opposite of Reid in that he can't keep his mouth shut.  As one of my law professors once said, "If you have nothing to say, say nothing".  If we didn't have a pick at the goal line, if we didn't fumble ... yeah if a cat was a dog it would bark.  That's football, GA.

Gordon tried to defend GA a couple of pages back and finished up by saying: " While different people respond differently, I think we can all relate to the pain of coming so close on something and falling short." I think the difference between GA and most other coaches is that most other coaches would have handled that pain with "CLASS".

OU#25,

Looks like I'll be have to abandon my Thursday start and HOF visit,  poor planning by my customer caused a Tuesday press check to be moved to Thursday.  Gonna hit him with about $2,000 in AA's/Overtime for the pain and suffering  :D

I'll be leaving Friday by 6:30AM and it looks like my brother can make it too.  Hotel is in Canton.  Should be in Canton by early/midafter noon.  Would love to hang out for a few.

If you and or Ric want to email me a phone number.  I'll call when I get settled.

JT

Karma to knightstalker and RUFan.
