Congrats to Cortland's Adam Haas for being named to the D3Football.com All-American First Team. I believe he is the first 1st team All American from Cortland since 91

The RU SID, I believe, does not submit information into D3football for those players who are deserving of consideration for player of the week and other such accolades as presented by this site. Shame on her!

Happy Holidays all.
LONG LIVE THE BORO!

I also think Bond and Orihel's injuries may have cost them shots at AA

Hey guys off the track a bit but I was wondering if whoever attended the Union and Mt. Union games against rowan could compare Union to Mt. Union on both sides of the ball. (Athletes, size, ability, off., def.) Thanks

Union = Mount Union - Mount  8)

D-train,

Love your quote but would like to suggest a corollary to it.

"The older you get the more rules they are going to try to get you to follow until you become the rulemaker."

When I was dating my wife we had luncheon with a retired Navy captain who was 96 years old.  During the meal he asked if we were married and I replied no.  He then stated, "What's wrong with you?  What are you waiting for?"  His wife, 72 at the time, replied "Now Rod you know you shouldn't talk like that!"  To which he responded, "I'm 96 years old and I can say any damn thing I like."

Hard to argue with a man like that - I mean, he was, after all, 96 years old.

We just love that story.  Shortly afterwards, I proposed.

Thanks for reading my drivel.

Lyco,

Great story with a fine point. But I can't take credit for the quote (or consider changes to it). It comes directly from Dazed & Confused.  "Just gotta keep livin' man...L-I-V-I-N."

d-train,

My favorite dazed line: That's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age.

All I want for Xmas is a couple of big fast WR transfers.

Rowan wish list for the 06 season

1) Orihel stays healthy
2)Encarnacion comes back to his full potential
3)defense only gets better with all of the returning starters( that could be scary for other teams)
4)we have another solid recruiting class( I'll even take a transfer or two :))
5) Stagg Bowl Victory or bust( next year is the year to get the monkey off our back)

It is time to finish what John Bunting started!!!

Happy Holiday's to all NJAC'ers.

Rowanlb92,

My wishes:

1) Better overall team health in 06
2) A least one tall (preferably two), fast WR to emerge as outside number 1's.
3) That will allow the slot guys to continue to do damage.
4) Better pass blocking from the RB's
5) Continued defensive growth

Without taking anything away from our playoff competition, I know what I saw at Mount Union and watching the Stagg Bowl.  The Profs were that close in 2005.  Heathly, they could play with and have beaten anyone this year.

MERRY CHRISTMAS GANG!!  SEE Y'ALL NEXT YEAR!! :)
