I was not at the MSU - Springfield game, but after reading the stats it appeared to be a close game down to the end and we had a chance being down 20-15 late in the 4th. I thought there was something wrong with my eyes, Springfield had 380+ yards rushing and -0- passing.  Even with the lop sided numbers the total yards were close, but with (4) picks you can never win. Sounds like the "D" did a good job and the "O" laid an egg again. I would appreciate any comments. I probably won't get any, so the past can't be changed, but the future can. Let's get ready for Salisbury !!!

Don't you think the RU Sports Info Dept. would update the 2006 roster with the kid's pictures.  We're 3 weeks into the season already.

They wait a little longer, they can post the 2007 roster w/pictures.

Anyway, I'm hustling to get more things updated on my site.  Like the 2006 Schedule... etc.  Been so busy then got a stomach virus this w/e.  Felt like I got hit by a bus.  Diaphragm is still sore from the heaving.

Waiting on press releases in order to write a pregame.  Anniversary w/e means I won't be going out to Moon Township.  There is this great spa halfway between DC and Pittsburg.  Tried plying my better half with a full day of spa, dinner, and dancing on Friday, if I could go to the game.  She wasn't buying.  Can't blame a guy for trying.

So we are off to parts far away from any meaningful football game.

Make a request?  They've had the pictures up for the last gazillion years.  Only about 90% of all of the other DIII teams list pictures but I guess we're too busy to do so again.

Relative to your w/e plans ...... don't tell your wife that you're going to the game.  Just mention to her that you're stepping out for a few minutes to go buy a pack of cigarettes ..... and, when you come back the next morning .... tell her that you hit a lot of traffic, the 7-11 had a ton of people in front of you in line and that the guy at the register didn't speak English.  Give it a shot.  It may work.  If it doesn't work, make sure that you go to sleep with a football helmet on .... because when you wake up you'll have one hell of a headache from the baseball bat that your wife has hidden under the bed .

I read your Pre-game on the Robt. Morris game.  Found it interesting that Joe Walton was seething at the Refs for lack of holding calls. 

Walton should have checked out what RMU was doing as well.  More than a few times, especially in the 2nd half, it looked as if the RMU players wanted a Rowan shirt to take back to Pittsburgh since they had such tight holds on them.  Also, there were a few late hits/unnecessary roughness calls that weren't called.

It looks like the Profs may encounter some "homer" refs if RMU is looking for some questionable payback.  Let's hope that the game is called evenly both ways.

Maybe last year's officials were just awful.  Hopefully, this crew will be better.  I did copy his quotes from the paper last year.  He was pretty pissed.  I'm off for a long weekend.

I read your pregame on your website and I believe that regardless of scholarships or not, Rowan is going to take it to them.  Not one person on their defense deserves scholarships more than our "D".  As well as on offense, their QB can't compare to ours.  Since Rowan has been off two weeks, I'm sure they are going to be out with something to prove.  In respect to my Linfield friends...  Phone this one in... Rowan by 30+

TAKE IT TO 'EM PROFS...  Prove who deserves the scholarships.  It's going to be a bad week for Pittsburg football fans, both for Steelers and RMU fans.

I don't see where this is a statement game for RU this week. They've been off for 3 weeks and I am sure are itching to hit someone other than a team mate. It will be biz as usual and I look for a win for the boys from the boro. The real statement starts next week with the run of NJAC games for RU.
