JAY

I have a question for Rowan fans. What will happen to the OC if the Rowan offense doesn't get going? Does Coach Acorisi Take over the Ofeense or does he get some help for his offense like aa consultant to jump start the offense.

Jay,
Your guess is as good as mine.  Do you have any experience?  I played linebacker all of my life, but now I'm the head coach of my sons Mity mite team.  I actually created the offense.  I would guess that we have more total yards this year,  and the quarters are only 10 minutes long.

I just hope that the coaches make whatever adjustments it is they need to make so that they can create an offense that will give them a fighting chance in the playoffs.

He gets sent to Jersey City to coach the NJCU offense.

I just went over the Prof offense game book for this week, and not to worry, we have come up with a new offensive strategy...  Since the Defense has scored more touchdowns then the offense this year.  This week at Buff State, we are just going to punt on first down and let the defense win for us.

It hasn't been attempted before, but I think it could work for the '06 Profs.

my friend just emailed me from buffalo,  3 ft of snow on the ground another 6 inches expected....there are power outages everwhere and lots of thunder and lightning as well believe its called snow thunder....he said it is absolutely crazy up there right now!!!! or as he refered to it as the ultimate sh#% show right now....

I just checked the weather on www.rowanfootball.com for Buffalo.  This is why I turned down a Buffalo job early in my career.  What a dump. Friends also warned me about the lack of hot women in the Buffalo area.  "Buffalo Betty's" chunky women in dressed in their best Jim Kelly jerseys and sweatpants.

Looks like the team with the least turnovers and best running game wins on Saturday.

Dr X has been strangely quiet over the life of this "discussion" and on the topic of the Rowan O.....

Could DR X now be the voice of reason for Rowan???

say it aint so!!!

Voice of reason........a lot of credit where no credit is due!

Been on the site too long to banter back and forth about life, money, girls, education, jobs, states, etc. As for football, I'll keep throwing my .02 in every now and then.

Being a former LB like Mr. RowanLB92, I am partial to the D, but a loyal follower regardless.

Best of luck to Rowan on their trip to Buffalo. Right now, the Thruway is closed around Buffalo and there's a driving ban (travel advisory they're calling it). Unless there's an emergency, people have been warned to stay off the roads. I'd assume the advisory will be lifted when the snow clears later in the day and into the evening. May make for a rough trip for Rowan to have to wade through the western NY snow.

Buffalo State plays on grass so there's the potential for the field to be a mess. At least when Rowan played Union in a blizzard last year, Union's field was artificial turf. Depending on how the weather unfolds, this could alter Rowan's game plan.

I played at Buff St after one of the biggest snow storms I can remember.  The whole bus almost slipped into Cayuga lake.  There had to have been 3-5 feet of snow on the field that got literally plowed off the day of the game actually making the field really good.  In fact, Buff Sts field held up a lot better than Ithacas field in similar conditions.

Glad the Dragons come down to CT this weekend.  Playing in the snow can be fun until halftime rolls in and you come back out dripping wet as a prime hypothrermia candidate in the 3rd.  Any other posters heading over to Danbury CT this weekend?

The Rowan at Buffalo St game has been cancelled due to the snowstorm in Buffalo and the Thruway being closed.  The buses have turned around and are heading back to Glassboro.

It isn't known whether the game will be played on Sunday.  The Rowan University site states cancelled, so it looks like it won't be played.

just saw where they are moving the driving ban further out...its a good idea for them to turn around no need to risk it. there are so many trees down and roads snow covered they are saying many of the 250,000 without power may have to go without electricity to at least the middle of next week. outside emercency powerline crews cant get in due to so many trees down as well as they cant plow the roads. the trees with their leaves still on are making the trees so heavy with snow that many many trees are snapping like twigs onto power lines

Buffalo is a great city full of history and amazing food.  The women there are just fine and the weather can be extreme but that's what makes it home.  Few blue collar towns like it still exist.  While it may not always be so appealing to the eye, the people there are friendly and are connected through a sense of pride because they survive the harshest of climates.

For Rowan guys i would think any woman at all is a sight for sore eyes after all the time spent in the clink....

With all due respect, when you live in Jersey you lose all right to call other parts of the country a "dump." Second of all, Buffalo is a mildly attractive city if you can get them before they turn 25. From there, it's all downhill, however. Third, you would be able to eat wings three times a week, at least, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Not looking to pick fights on this board, just some observations.
