allright i gotta say it.........Buff State was NEVER in the game with cortland........cortland was up 31-7 at half(about the score of the GAME versus rowan).......mostly sat on the ball and was up 38-7 going into the 4th where they put their second teamers in and gave up 2 late TD's.........You guys have been the class of the NJAC as well as the entire EAST for the last decade but please start posting intelligently

xdragon58

How is it that a one loss rowan team (while to a 1aa team) is ranked ahead of a 6-0 cortland team, i understand that loss, but rowan snuck by west conn at home (iam pretty sure) and cortland man hanled west conn with out thier starting qb and not even playing a great game, its time we get our damn respect......lets take it to the red hawks this weekend

You mean intelligently like many Cortland posters.  I'd really have to dumb down my posts for that.  You're attacking one of the earliest d3football.com supporters of Cortland in 2006.  So I'd relax.

I also correctly picked the Dragons to get into the playoffs in 2005 at 7-2.

I'm noticing that the "bottom" of the NJAC is playing better Buff St., Kean, and William Paterson.  The gimmie games in the NJAC are becoming less and less.  Forget Buff St since they are new.  Willy P and Kean hung with Cortland.

I've been a fan of DIII football for years and have yet to see a Cortland team "sit on the ball"..... and you're criticzing JT for not posting intelligently.  Did you ever hear of "glass houses"?

xdragon58,

"Let's get ready to take it to the Red Hawks" Right now you are probably ahead of the Prof's but don't think that you will have a walk in the park this Sat. We are young, and watch out. You may come away with your first "L". Welcome to the Red Hawk Nation !!!
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

i know this game is far from a walk in the park, montclair is a great program and will def but forth a good game, by no means do i feel they will roll over and die espically after that lose, like my counterpart xdragon77 said, they now have thier backs against the wall, but if cortland puts together a great, mistake free game, i feel they will come out of jersey with a win........

Question for Prof fans,

I was listening to the game while doing some housework on Saturday and I didn't hear Tosh's name a lot, if I heard it at all.  I was replaying the game in my head and I was wondering if he was hurt, or we simply didn't need him, or possibly he just had a quiet game.  Any information would be greatly appreciated.

It looked to me like he tweaked his ankle towards the end of the TCNJ game.  He played till the end of the TCNJ game and walked on it after the game.  I haven't heard anything specific and the Buffalo pregame release didn't mention anything.

He might have been kept out to heal up for the stretch run.

John McGraw

According to the game stats on the Buffalo State web site, Tosh started at defensive tackle. Though, looking down, he didn't register a tackle. Aside from mentioning him in the starting line-up, I don't remember saying his name once.

Hopefully Tosh will be good to go for the Kean game as he is absolutely an integral part of this team's Defense as well as a great leader.  We will need to have the senior leadership to carry this team along.

Lets right this ship and get ready for a playoff run.

GO PROFS!!!!!!!!!

One of my sources said that Tosh played a few plays at Cortland on a heavily taped ankle, then took himself out.  He didn't re-injure it.  Guess he wanted to see if he could go, but decided he needed another week.

What's up with this board ????????????????????????????????

Kean Beats Montclair and they have a big game against the Prof's and no chirping.

Montclair has a big game with Cortland and -0-

Mind you, a loss for MSU or Kean and they are out. You think this would spark some responses, No !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Red Hawks, you're playing for your lives this Sat, Get Your **** Together !!!

Rams,

I can't believe it either...  I believe this is a great week for NJAC football, and definietly a week that will effect the outcome and destiny for many teams.  Hopefully, the RU defense will contain Roque, and the Prof offense will put up some points.  I know that the Kean team has really come into their own in the last few years.  I'm sure that since the NJCU team folded, Willy P and Kean has more North Jersey talent to choose from from kids that want to stay local.  My predictions for this Saturday.  RU 24-Kean 16.  Rowan puts up 3 TD's and we have fouth and goal from the one inch line, and we kick a FG.  Kean scores a TD on an athletic play from AJ and scores a special teams TD, then the Prof defense gets a saftey from AJ trying to make too much happen with his scrambling.

I think that the Cortland/MSU game is going to be extremely close, possibly OT.  I'm sure that MSU is going to come out with a lot to prove, however Cortland triumphs in the end 31-28.

It appears that this weekend in NJ, weather will not play a factor as it is going to be in the 60's for game time.  Good luck to all, and we'll see where the chips lie in respect to the complexion of the NJAC late Saturday afternoon!!!
