Kean is certainly an up and coming team but the score doesn't tell the whole story. An inadvertant whistle in the 1st half cost Rowan a Kean fumble at the Kean 2 yard line. In the 2nd half, our RB fumbled through Kean's endzone for a safety from the Kean 4 yard line.  The next two drives were Rowan TD's.

The score should have been at a minimum 23-12 and probably 30-12.  The offense came around a little bit more today, but there's still work ahead.  There aren't any patsies in the NJAC anymore.  Rowan D held the #1 NJAC offense to 192 yards and 0 net rushing yards. Even with the three step drops, Rowan had three sacks.

Gotta take care of Montclair next week.

Ray Rice is rippin it up.  I remember his high school days @ New Rochelle.  One upon a time this might have been a true ism:  Rowan's amazing success cut into Rutgers recruiting.  Lets go to DIII Rowan and eat people alive or go to D1 Rutgers and have a new but hole installed every Saturday.

16-12 Rowan is not very promising.  Still sounds like South Central Mississpi Mud Dogs football.  Hey Waterboy.....Water sucks, its really really sucks!

xreddragon77,

This whole season is reminding me of the movie  Waterboy.  The only problem is that none of the coaches know who to give the ball to.  The bottom line is, our Defense will  keep us in any game this year, including Mount Union.  The problem is our offense will also allow any team to stay in the game , including Galludette.

We keep winning games which is a good thing, but I still do not see any offensive improvement after todays game.  The drama continues!!!!

JT,
Maybe you can shed some light on this one.  Was it me, or did the refs in todays game have thier heads up thier arses.  I'm not saying that they had alot of bad calls.  I'm talking about the long decision times when consulting with each other.  I think they extended the game by at least 25 minutes of nonsense..

Heres hoping next week is a little better.

The refs were awful.  The clock guy (paid) was awful.  Cost Rowan a TD.  I dunno, it looked to me like the Prof O got a little of that swagger in the second half.  2 consecutive td's... almost three.

Had a deep touchdown pass attempt to Barnes in the first half... about a few inches longer and it was a TD.  We'll see if they can improve upon that next week.

Looks like I had a good day with the camera.  Kean photos are up.  Game story to follow later.

What's the scoop on TCNJ this season?  I haven't been hearing much out of Lion Land.
