Montclair wins.

There should be some coaching vacancies after this one!

Soon as the games over, announcer lights up the refs.....

If Cortland gets the top seed in the east that means Rowan has 2 D-III losses and 3 totall losses.....In your scenario they wont get in....

cstate19

i meant top ranking in this weeks poll........not really top seed

rowanlb92

two unnecesary pass incompletions in the last 4 minutes of the game give montclair 2 extra timeouts.  This game would have been iced and out of time!!!

You still have to come through Rowan.

Go red hawks!!! Although now Rowan really has something to play for next week... should be a good one.  My last visit there a couple missed PIT's meant victory for Rowan, the kicking game has been very strong for Cortland this year so I don't expect the same.  What a nice surprise  :P Should be some good game film to game plan... Been waiting for week 9 all year!

Just back from the field.  The refs did everything the could to hand the game to Montclair, and they succeeded.  It was the worst job by a crew I've seen in years.  The Red Hawks in no way deserved to win that game... period.  Our Dline was getting friggin mugged by the Red Hawk oline.  Would have made the WWE proud.  Other fantom calls against the Profs.

But the one that cost Rowan the game was a sack of the Red Hawk QB in the 4th quarter that caused a fumble which was returned for TD by Rowan.  Clear as day obvious, everyone in the stadium saw no question a TD.  Only no TD.  Why???  The referee, the one on the play right by the QB, whose only job is to watch the QB and the right tackle ONLY told Accorsi, "I wasn't paying attention."  I heard him say it. WTF is that???  The score should have been 27-17 at that point game over. Clearly cost Rowan the game.

So the Profs rebound from that and are running the clock out deep in MSU territory, and they start passing and stopping the clock with incompletes, giving MSU more time.  Should have been running.  MSU would have run out of time on the tying FG.  Bad clock management late in the 4th Qtr gave MSU the opportunity to send the game into overtime.  Still it should have never happened, the refs cost the Profs the game.

The Profs clearly missed safety Eric Bailey today. Probably the reason MSU was able to pass as well as they did.  He wasn't playing much due to a really bad stinger

I need a ****ing drink.... OUT!

Every WEEK it's about the refs with you all.  Get over it, they lost, Montclair won.  Sounds like Rowan had some stupid play calling that cost them at the end.

JT, you said it yourself, man, if Rowan does the right thing and runs the ball, the game is over. At that point, all the previous, alleged screw-ups by the ref should be moot. Rowan had destiny in their own hands and let it slip away.

So are we all in "agreeance" (quoting Fred Durst) that next week's game is for Rowan's season? Who woulda thunk it?

Nice win for Montclair today. It does not sound like you, JT with sour grapes. The Ref's were weak to say the least, but you do not mention the other calls that went your way. Our QB played with a broken left wrist and did not do that bad. Many of our drives were 3 and out as usual. You guys caught a break when you punted at the end and we muffed it. All you guys had to do at the end of the game was to run the ball 4 times and if you did not score we would have gotten the ball approx on the 10 yard line, to go 90 yards  with about 30 seconds. Blame yourselves !!! Give credit to a good MSU "D" and the "O" had a few sputs of life. You guys had a chance to tie it in OT and you did not. Good luck against Cortland next week.

Again, this was a great win for Montclair. Let's keep it up and hope for an ECAC Bid.

LET'S  GO  MIGHTY  RED  HAWKS  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.
