I know Rowan isn't the be all end all.  I'm involved in d3football.com and I stay on top of other regions and leagues as much as possible.  I read, visit other chat boards (usually don't post) just to stay up on things.

Since I've become involved in d3football.com I appreciate the bigger picture.  Regarding rowanfootball.com, I'm always on the lookout for volunteers (photo/writing).  I'd like to step back a little bit.  I love the photography end very much, but wish I had some writing help.  When I do get approached by students, they want to know how much it pays.  I say I'll let them know if the site ever leaves the red.

Unlike the mtunionfootball.com and bridgewaterfootball.com guys, I live far from campus.

If I had help, I might catch a couple of different games each year.  I'd like to go to a Shoes game and I'd really like to catch a Jug game one of these days.

I haven't done any writing for d3football this year, but do I have a macro approach to the whole division.  It probably looks micro to Rowan opponents, but I don't understand why we can't hope for better outcomes, criticize play calling, refs etc. like other fans all around the country.

Part of the problem is that other NJAC teams (except Cortland) don't seem to maintain regular posters, so the NJAC board looks very Rowan centric.  I'd rather have a bunch of Kean, TCNJ, WPU, Buff St posters to banter with.

We also have a diehards like 4mer and RUFan.  You can't tell them anything.  They even argue with other Prof fans.  But every team has those.  They are part of the mix.

When Rowan loses we congratulate the other team, always have.  I should have done it after the Montclair game, but I'm not perfect.

If you want to be a fan that is cool.  If you want to be a journalist, that is cool too.  But don't hide behind "journalist" when you want us to think you are smart and hide behind "fan" when you want us to think you aren't a .  As far as I'm concerned you better stick to fan.  Journalist went out the window when you refused to report the Montclair game on your site.  I mean, if the Yankees are down in the 8th, YES doesn't cut the feed.

I'm going to step in here and (GASP) defend Rowan in this week's ATE.... I'm sorry budcrew, you're right that they are clinging to the edge, you're right that they are underdogs this Saterday. But there is no way Rowan is #10 in the east behind RPI and Rochester.

I've read your ongoing rantings with 4merProf and I guess I missed it when you were made the "Official Approver" for all Rowan Fan Posts.

If 4merProf has an opinion, that's just what it is ....his opinion!  In case you haven't noticed, this is a discussion board.  You can call him what you like but the politically correct glass house that you live in, really doesn't give you the right to blast him because his opinion differs from yours.  Remember, you always have the option not to read what he or anybody else posts. 

Since you brought up the topic of wasting D3 space, please spare us any more of your resume and the "days of yore in Accorsi's office" bull.  Who cares?

If you feel the need to continue to down 4mer and praise yourself, why don't you send him an Email. 

Oh, by the way, if you don't  think that the Profs have had major problems this year, you haven't been paying attention!

wow.......cortland has been completely phased out......you would think the next two weeks would be 2 rowan-IC games instead of cortland rowan for the playoffs and IC-cortland for the jug

Some of these E8 posters are like locusts swarming to other boards.  Certainly keeps things interesting over here.  If I was allowed to post at work without the fear of losing net priveleges, I might add to the fiasco.  Untill then I will let the Ithaca guys do the leg work.

Cort-Row is a HUGE match up - especially for the Dragons.  It could be a potential knock out blow to the reigning "Beast from the East" and push Cortland to #1 in the Region.  

It could also be Rowan's getting back on track game prior to another run to the Regional Final (much like they did last year after getting caught off guard by WPU).

The Profs are in a win-or-miss-the-playoffs situation, a potential Pool C bid damaged by last week's 27-20 stumble at Montclair State. They can still win their fifth NJAC championship in the past six years by defeating the Red Dragons. A Cortland loss would mean they would meet Ithaca in a win-or-go-home Cortaca Jug game. The Red Dragons could be the East's No. 1 seed or miss the postseason entirely. Cortland's defense has allowed three points in two weeks, since TCNJ's 14 points last week came on a interception return and blocked punt return. Quirky scores may influence Saturday's game, since the Profs have a defense to match (No. 3 in nation at 161.9 yards per game to Cortland's No. 19 and 221.4). Rowan has given up 75 rushing yards all season, bad news for a Cortland team playing with backup quarterback Ray Miles in place of Alex Smith.

The box score definitely shows you guys controlled that game in every area except in passing yds allowed. 

Still, Bart must have done something right and knows how to beat Cortland if we could spot you guys 4 turnovers from our end and still win.

Completely agree on this point.  If it's Cortland's year, they'll prove it Saturday.

Same deal with Bart.  We may have the higher ranking and better record, but until Bart beats Union they are still the defending LL champs.
