TGP agrees it's a raw deal for Cortland, but TGP isn't buying the "Cortland deserves it more than Hobart" nor the "NJAC is better than the LL" arguments.

TGP,
Regardless of who was left out, it would have been a hose job.  Historically the NJAC has been one of the better playoff confrences in the East.   I would claim that The NJAC is just as competitive as the upstate leauges even in a down year.  You don't have to buy the claims since the truth is not for sale, and its free.  Best of luck at Rowan but I think you guys don't know what you may be running into.  They have appeared to reach their peak at the right time of the season.

Cortland did get hosed, but I dont think the NJAC has done anything to deserve anything over any other conference.  Rowan has been one of the best teams in the country hands down many times over the last 15 years (the best one of those years).  Other than Rowan those years though the NJAC hasnt been superior to any other east league in my opinion.

Thank you, that's all TGP was saying.

i dont buy the njac is better then the LL arguement.............obviously you know where i stand on who i think should get in more but my opinion means nothing.........all i want is to stop hearing hobart beat cortland.........that has nothing to do with the 2006 playoffs

I wouldn't say that, perhaps Alfred is also a big factor for beating Ithaca.  Maybe it took some of the luster out of Cortland's Cortaca win.  Regardless, the Red Dragons are one of the best teams I've seen in 2006.  They played Rowan virtually even, and the Profs are basically the same defense that hung with the National Champs in 2005.

Bethel took Cortland St.'s spot.  St. John's should've handled business and you'd  be in.

Regardless, fine season Cortland St.
To succeed, one must be creative and persistent.  John H. Johnson

Best of luck to Rowan .....

As for Cortland? An injustice, it says here. How about common sense entering the playoff formula

Best of luck to rowan....go out there and show the world (once again) what Rowan is all about...some reason these low rate upstate NY teams seem to think you guys are soft, but after watching that game vs ortland i feel i may be watching u guys play yet again for the stagg bowl..............as for us not getting in, i dont even know what to say, they did everything right, lose 1 game in ot to one of the best programs in the country, and they get screwed......how does this all work out......i feel bad for the coachs and players who thought they where in, just as we all did, so i would love nothing more then to see rowan hammer those clowns by 50 points......
No matter where we go, it's about who we are.......C-STATE!!!!!!!!

TGP doubts any upstate NY - "low rate" or otherwise -  teams are calling Rowan soft.

RT is happy to see a great regional upstate NY matchup come to life now that it's been announced that RPI is playing Cortland St in the ECAC's.

Looking forward to this one...and some new blood on the LL boards.

Where can you find the list of the ECAC games?  I was on the site a little while ago and found nothing.
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

'gro

should be a good one this week in the NIT (ECAC's)... 1st ever meeting between RPI and Cortland.

JT

Should be interesting:

RPI/Cortland

Kean/Kings

Is the NJAC getting stronger, or not?

5Reasons

Kean is going bowling. I was a bit worried after the let down to TCNJ. Thanks Montclair State for not applying.

Any Profs fans notice that transfer Wr. Joe Markham vaporized.  Saw him at the Kean game, now not on the roster. Heard he got injured in a JV game, might have been in Accorsi's dog house too. Seems like he had good physical skills but not the commitment.
