Great job, Profs.  The NJAC trophy is where it belongs .... in the 'boro.

Good to see the coaches finally calling the short passes to the SBs, WRs, etc.  They've been open all year ... especially over the middle.

Orihel has good feet so when they roll him out, it just puts extra pressure on the defense and also gets him out of harm's way ...  just standing there behind the line waiting to get hit.  I was surprised at his speed on the two long runs that he had.

Well, bring on Hobart.  Haven't heard much about them this year but am looking forward to seeing how they cope with our defense .... or, better said, how our defense handles them.

Keep it up Profs ..... BELIEVE! ;)

What a nice break to get a 1st round home game- I think this can only help us gain more confidence with a big home win against Hobart.  I also like any RU against any team in the 2nd round

Great job to Rowan for another NJAC championship.  It looks like the offense is finally starting to find its stride, and with the overall strength of the defense, it doesn't look like its coming too late.  I'm looking for a big win from the profs this weekend.  A 17+ point margin of victory would give us nice momentum going to Wilkes.

My sympathies go out to all Cortland fans and players.  I believe the second best team in the East was left  out of the playoffs.

Congratulations to the Montclair State Field Hockey Team on their ECAC Championship. Way to go Red Hawk Football Team, I guess you're to good for the ECAC'S and wanting to build for next year. Way to build fan support. Man am I Pissed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

damn I only predicted a 16 point RU victory but yes a big comfortable win would really help this team get even more momentum rowanlb92.

Rowan really seems to dismantle all East opponants come playoff time.  I have a feeling that this year will be no different.  Thank god they beat Cortland or they would be out!

good point- even I must admit cortland got screwed in the bracket.  Maybe this year expectations are below normal for RU, but that might be a good thing.

Once again, wishing rowan fans and players best of luck this weekend, and if they think this is a down year for RU, they are in some serious trouble, afterall, ur a two loss team, with one loss comming to a solid scholarship program......after seeing rowan play cortland, there is nothing down about them.....it will be hard for hobart to match up with your skill players...and i think ur o is finaly where it needs to be, and thats what playoffs are all about, who gets hot at the right time, and thats what u guys did.....now onto to cortland getting screwed....how is it that we are ranked 15 in the coachs poll and dont get in, makes no sense
No matter where we go, it's about who we are.......C-STATE!!!!!!!!

DJ DLC was checking out the Rowan stat book and was thoroughly impressed.  Your D especially had some eye popping numbers - 38 yd rushing allowed per game?!?!?

Hobart's offense is pretty much dependant on getting their run game going.  Mizro is a good QB, but his stats have been pretty average as of late - probably due to the fact that his OL hasn't really played well (particularily in the Union game when Bart was held to 55 yds rushing and gave up 3 sacks and numerous QB hurries).

DJ DLC thinks that if Bart is going to have ANY chance in this game they are going to have to get something going on the ground.  Otherwise, Rowan will probably win big much like 2004.

Twas surprised at how del sur Glassboro is in NJ.  Just a hop and a skip to DE and Philly.  BTW - ever attend a Pumpkin Chunkin event?  Other than the 2004 Rowan - Bart game of course......

How about going to the Kean game?  Most of them are former Montclair staffers.
