Don Juan

I have been to more than a few Punkin' Chunkins.....

However Souther De is in no way near or related to Southern Jersey...

That may be a better question to ask the Wesley group ;)

Sir Jack -

When doth thou think you will have completed the Rowan-Bart preview on RFB.com?

Sir Jack,

JT, I'm not that pissed. ;D

Good luck to you guys, I hope the O keeps improving. If that happens RU and Former will be tough to deal with. ;)
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

Its still one more week of DIII football, a little over 9 months until the next game. Union, NJ is just around the block. :)

since cortland is the home team, I guess this is the place to hold some friendly ECAC discussion??

let me get this one out of the way. Cortland is a school for morons and meatheads who will educate a nation of children through kickball. RPI is full of dorks and only 17 girls that couldn't win a beauty contest in a slaughterhouse.

That being said, how do the TEAMS match up?

Gro from what I saw, Cortland is a big, physical team with great speed at the skill positions but no real gamebreakers on offense that can put the game away.

Could be a wierd game.  Cortland is either going to be pissed off and fired up to play, or down and out and not care.  Im also assuming its fall break week already for the students so it could be an empty stadium.  Should be an interesting game either way.

Gro - you may longer call yourself Baron, but that was a very diplomatic treatsie if ever TGP saw one!

you need to tread lightly in the NJAC, some very sensitive individuals here.

Me neither.  Just must be careful of what I type while at work.

The bad feeling I have about this game is that since we've never played cortland we might get not get in a rhythem early.  The good feeling is that RPI is great at making adjustments on the fly.

If RPI can move the ball on the ground, then that should keep the D honest and they can make plays in the passing game.

RPI 21

RPI won't get 75 yards rushing Saturday.  The Cortland D Line will punish your o line against the pass.  More like Cortland 28- RPI 10

TGP has a similiar bad feeling, but it's mostly b/c Bart DID play Rowan (and did so quite badly in the 1st round in 2004) and allthough we started well, the wheels fell off the bus after our opening drive.

If Bart is to have any chance in this year's match up, a couple of things will have to go their way.

1) Be successful rushing the ball on offense.  So far Rowan's D has only allowed opponents to rush for a paltry 38 yds/game.  When Bart stunk it up vs. Union we only rushed for 55 yds and Mizro was running for his life in the backfield since our line completely disappeared.
2) Be successful stopping the run on defense.  In 2004 Bart was outrushed 312 yds to 85!!!  Bart D has lived on the edge and has gotten by with the bend don't break approach.  Going to have to play better to hang with Rowan's O.
3) Capitalize on turnovers - minimize them on offense and create them on defense.

Hey, TGP is being realistic in that TGP doesn't expect Bart to go far in the tournament; but if RPI can make it to the Final 4, why not us?
