Well, Rowan lost to a IAA scholarship school after a 2 week consecutive bye and put up a fight.  They had a brain fart againsts a 7-3 team and beat arguably the East's #1 team at the moment in OT.
As for the knocks on Dodgeball,  it's probably one of the best games that can be played in a physical education class as  it promotes gross and fine motor coordination, cardiovascular and muscular endurance, spacial awareness, bilateral movement, hand eye coordination, manipulation of force, teamwork, and oh......the most underrated characteristic of toughness.  Yes it is a most misunderstood game but a great one with leagues popping up all over.
Red, you must have been the fat kid getting lit up when that game was being played.

Upstate,
That was no beat down.  Pat is just being loyal to a below average collumnist that writes for him.  I wouldn't expect anything less from him.

I'm actually surprised that Pat didn't pull a big brother on me a pull  the post.

How can you sit there and complain about something that your completely off base about?

The Liberty League people will tell you I've been loyal to all my columnists.

If you had a bridge, I wouldn't trust you to read the map and tell me where it was.  You're complaining about things that aren't wrong.

Guess the Rowan photo on the front page Friday night wasn't enough coverage for you. Bummer.

POW!!!

Yeah that one hurt :'(

Pat,
Stick to the topic.

Pat Coleman

I am. You seem to be a couple posts behind, however.

You brought the bridge into it, not me. :)

Upstate,
I'm not talking about past years features.  I'm talking about this year.  And also, one would assume that if you are doing a piece on the east region that you would keep it east region teams!

Redtackle,
I'm not envious of the LL posters niether am I putting them down.  When I said entertaining, I meant it.  I've gotten some pretty good laughs lurking on the LL boards.  Wow, did I just admit that?

Rowantexan,
Thanks for the backup. 1+K for the lone star prof.  It's has actually become a comedy to read his stuff.  He is so anti Rowan it's scary.  I bet he cry's everytime Rowan wins a playoff game.

After all he is from the east, and Rowan is the only team from the east that done a good job in representing the east in the last 15 years.  He can at least fake it, the same way a waitress does when she hates her job but at least pretends that she is happy when she sees her customer.

Actually, I'm glad Adam picked Hobart- I would have been nervous if he picked Rowan because his picks are pretty much always wrong.

FYI, RowanTexan to make an appearance at UMHB/Hardin-Simmons in Belton.  Super secret assignment.

Lets all admit though that this years Rowan team doesnt compare to the Rowan teams of the last 15 years....(At this point they dont anyway)

What does that have to do with the price of tea in China?

It has to do with this quote from Rowanlb92......"After all he is from the east, and Rowan is the only team from the east that done a good job in representing the east in the last 15 years.  He can at least fake it, the same way a waitress does when she hates her job but at least pretends that she is happy when she sees her customer"

there's no way you just said "avatar"...nuh uh

rowanlb92

JU,
Point understood.

My point is that, as fans fans we are expected to be biased.  As a fan of D3football.com I might expect undertones, but not such an obvious disdain for a team.

Pat Coleman

Merely leaving someone out is not disdain.

How about you do what I asked Liberty League fans to do regarding JT when he left out items from their conference: send him a damn e-mail instead of calling him out on the board. Thanks.
