Still dodgeball, still a great game, so many life lessons.  You all know it would be interesting to assemble a dodgeball legue pitting each board against one another.

comeon Xreddragon77.....you know and I know that "target sports" are heavily frowned upon in the phys ed world of today.

(Ask me how I know the genre of "target sports")

In regards to the "top performers", you do realize that he covers those teams in the ATR due to the ACFC (or whatever it is)....

Maybe that was missed due to the Rowan Lovefest articles from the years before...

He doest stick to one team and oogle over them every week...

I find it nice to actually read up on other teams instead of reading about one team or one conference week in and week out....

I know how hard it is to please everyone and I fully support budcrew's efforts.  But the perception that I over featured Rowan... meaning top headline, is more myth than reality. In 31 ATR East articles written over a three year period, Rowan was featured four times (13%) including zero times in 2003 when Rowan was 7-3 and missed the playoffs.  35% of the time other teams were featured. 52% of the time multiple teams/conferences were featured. Most of my columns were multi featured with different teams and conferences.  Of those columns with a main featured team in the top headline:

2003

1 – NJAC (not Rowan)

1 – E8

1 – ACFC

1 - LL

2004

1 – ACFC

1 – NJAC

1 – E8

1 – Rowan

2005

1 – ACFC

1 – NJAC (not Rowan)

1 – LL

3- Rowan

Now many Rowan matchups have been included outside of the headline/main topic (conference changes, upsets, rivalries) but I did the same for every conference I covered.  I usually looked for reasons to not include Rowan matchups (clear blowouts, non-important games).  Was I perfect, no... but I really worked hard to cover important games in the region.  I listened to, and solicited advice.  I answered fans and haters emails with equal respect.  I wanted to improve, and I think I did.

Doing the ATR has made me a bigger fan of the East region in general.  I still read news and follow it closely.  To tarnish my previous efforts every time a Prof fan complains about Adam is unfair. Had there been student/alumni volunteers assisting me with rowanfootball.com, I'd have gone to at least three non-Rowan games per year.  But when you've spent the time, money and effort to give life to a site such as rowanfootball.com, you can't let it slip. Especially when certain Rowan administrators have tried to make me go away.  I will go to other non-Rowan games in the future when I can find help with my site.

Adam will make his peace with his detractors just like I did.  Crapping on me in the meantime solves nothing.

JT,

I may joke around but Trying to remember back to your columns, I don't remember ever being upset about what you had wrote as being unfair... Like Pat Said, if you want to talk to Adam, e-mail him or talk to him privately outside of these boards.

WTF is going on here? People are bashing Samrov for his column covering the shoes. You can only cover 1 game in person. He chose shoes. D3.com really needs to send someone to Cortaca but even the Ithaca guys said they'd rather have the attention when the game is on the south hill (gro is picking up on the D3 trivia). So he wrote about RPI, big deal. It's playoffs time and those teams get the coverage from now on.

Rowan Texan... get this... +k for probably the 1st post you've ever written where you're not just blatenly insulting someone,  team, hairstyle, or conference. If you wrote more posts like that one you'd be down to -10 karma. If you check a few pages back gro even wrote a nice little ditty about the profs, no lie.

Cortland people, please don't use the big words to describe kickball. At the end of the day, it's still kickball.

Hello To Our Rowan bitc.....errrr friends!   ;D

Looks like if Mount and Rowan take care of business, it could be Rowan Vs. Mount again.  We both have a long way to go, but it sure would be nice hosting such a fine institution in the semi's.

Go get 'em Profs!  (do you actually HAVE an offense?)   ;D

Dr. xGSC

So much LOVE in this room being spread out amongst all. It's so nice to see everyone agreeing with everyone and getting along in the process.

Thank goodness the games are played on the field and not in these rooms, but it does make for interesting (i.e.:------> humorous) reading. What would we do without this forum?

Good luck to all the teams in the playoffs (NCAA, ECAC) and may the best teams win, may the fans travel safe and may these boards continue to enlighten each of us with all the rhetoric and banter.  ::)

LONG LIVE THE BORO!

If you do ANYTHING, give it your EVERYTHING!
