Both sites have the game at Wesley. I remember you mentioning that you got the game from Coach Drass? The schedule page at D3.com has it in NJ

Hey, does anyone have any DVD copies of the Rowan Stagg Bowls?  Or know of where I could get some?

Go Profs!

I'm in the middle of a move, so what I have is packed away, but I've got:

1999 Mount Union semi-final
1993 Stagg Bowl vs. Mount
1996 Stagg Bowl vs. Mount
1998 Stagg Bowl vs. Mount

I'm missing 1995 vs. UW-Lax, and 1999 vs. PLU.  I can get you copies in a few weeks.  I haven't really tried getting UW-Lax or PLU Stagg's but I want them.  I'll put a post on the boards for those.  Somebody's gotta have a copy.

Awesome man!  That would be much appreciated.  Thanks!

JT,

Are you coming down for the game? I'm not tailgating this year - lame friends have the honey-do's Saturday morning before the game......but it'd be nice to chat with you again.

Are the Profs bringing the bagpipes this year?

I'm in the finishing up a move to new digs, and my better half has burned a few unanticipated vacation days.  She likes to save days for a big vaca during Thanksgiving.  So Labor Day in Newport News may not be in the cards.  I will do everything I can think of to make it since I only missed 2001.  Especially since it might be the last year for the regular season rivalry due to SUNY Morrisville and Brockport coming into the NJAC in 2008, giving the NJAC 10 teams.  My bet is that the Profs keep Widener on the schedule since they are about 17 miles away, thus ending a great rivalry with CNU.

I'll be a little sad if it's true.  We've hit VA beach for concerts, seen a lot Naval stuff, and had basically a little mini-vaca with football in the middle.  Can't beat that.  If Rowan stops playing CNU after this year, I will miss the southern hospitality.

phil

...I'd be happy to show you a little southern hospitality should Rowan ever schedule U of Houston!!!!

On another note, I can't believe Rutgers has basically sold out all their home games for the year. I'm looking up into the Texas sky to find the flying pigs!!!

CNU85

it does sounds like an end to a good rivalry....i wonder who will fill the slot for cnu?  oh well...that's next year stuff....

cnu needs to pull off one "w" against Rowan!!!!

Well, one thing's for sure, it won't be Bridgewater....Clark's a chicken.

GO CAPS!

Hey Phil,

Nice to see you are alive and kicking. How's the golf game? Are you going to make it back to NJ during the Football season?

This board is quiet as usual with the exception of a few Rowan sitings. I guess we have to wait until they have the NJAC coaches meeting before rosters will be printed. I think I'll do the Pick-Em again. Are you going to be in? The boys from Sam Mills field have one heck of a schedule. Should be an interesting year.  Very impressive that you have a positive Karma. ;)

Keep in touch and don't be a stranger.
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

Dave,
I guess I've transformed into a "lurker" rather than a pot-stirrer. I can't say I don't go a day without checking what's been written, but I haven't exactly initiated conversation either.

I've been back to Jersey twice since I left last November. I lost a close friend and then came back to play in a charity golf event in his honor. I'll also probably be back in a couple weeks to visit a client (and then stay to play mucho golf with buddies).

I'll be back for your "pick-em"! It will be interesting to see how I pick from long distance.

It will also be interesting to see what becomes of TCNJ's baseball and basketball coaching hires. Dell is a big loss on the baseball side, but he has a very strong and capable staff. Castaldo will appoint an interim basketball coach to replace himself. That will be interesting since TCNJ has a couple NCAA appearances and zero tourney wins since Greg Grant and co. played for the national championship in 1989.

...and football? I don't like where TCNJ has been heading. Hamilton is a terrific coach, but a handful of special admits can only take you so far when the rest of the team has to score in NESCAC territory on the SATs.

And take a look at what I found on the ESPN website:
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/index
D3 and ESPN!

Golf game is better than ever. I have Nicklaus, Fazio, Palmer and Player courses within a ten minute drive — plus PGA pros KJ Choi and Jeff Maggert are in my neighnorhood.

Hope all is well up in your neck of the woods! Make "Sam Mills Field" a reality!!!!
