I voted Rowan No. 1 because of their historic depth and the question marks facing the other teams.

I've watched Rowan decimate very good opponents and been impressed by the athleticism and speed of their reserves.  While that depth expectation took a bit of a hit last year, I like the Profs to reload faster than anyone else.

I trust my Cortland source who says they will need time to rebuild.  Montclair has been very inconsistent over the last couple years.  And while I like Kean (had them in my Top 25 and have advocated them as a 2007 sleeper), I can't pick them over Rowan on paper until it happens on the field.

I think it will be an interesting season.  Better strap it up every Saturday.  Even the "bad" NJAC teams, ain't that bad anymore.  The NJAC as a whole is getting stronger.  Hopefully the teams all rep well out-of-conference this year.  Can the conference do better than 14-9 in 2006.

You are correct about Montclair being inconsistant. If they can play for 60 minutes and not take a nap, watch out this year. Kean is getting better. From what I hear the O Line is the problem. Fix that and look out. Rowan is still the king of the hill. I hope Montclair can be the King this year.

I picked Rowan but I think Montclair and Kean could take the conf. Rowans depth is my main reason with the injuries last season alot of players got game experience.  They may run the ball more they have depth in the backfield and a big o-line.One major flaw that needs to be addressed is the kicking game. It was very inconsistent and that can come back to haunt you.

best of luck to all looking foward to the season

I picked Rowan because until they get knocked off regularly they are the team to beat.

I pick Ramapo and Jersey City to both remain undefeated in 2007.

NJCU hasn't lost a football game for several seasons now, Ramapos streak is even longer.

Honestly.... everyone take my word for it!! Although I am biased bc I played at "The Montclair State University".... with the players they have coming back... The work ethic, and leadership combined with a good freshmen class (a few north south all-star guys) sold transfers...and some good old Rick Giancola tutelage... watch out NJAC the Beasts are back!!!  ;D
