Honestly.... everyone take my word for it!! Although I am biased bc I played at "The Montclair State University".... with the players they have coming back... The work ethic, and leadership combined with a good freshmen class (a few north south all-star guys) sold transfers...and some good old Rick Giancola tutelage... watch out NJAC the Beasts are back!!!  ;D

I like what I'm hearing. "Work ethic and leadereship." I'm starting to get pumped for the Wilkes game already. Every game, 60 minutes !!! Let's Git-R-Done !!!

I thought there would be more activity on this board, but I guess it is what it is.

I got an early D3 rush on my trip to Up-State NY. Get to Binghampton and before I got on 17W I said we gotta get Cortland this year. Then driving past Almond I see a sign for Alfred and thought of AUPep. Business meeting in Jamestown, meet with the Reps in Bemus Point then spend the night in Tonawanda. Listening to the local sports radio the Bills will soon be breaking camp at St. John Fisher. Business in Syracuse and a late meeting in Cazenovia (Morrisville). Last night I looked at D3 Preview, which is real good. Congrats Pat !!! A steak in Syracuse tonight and below my comments on the NJAC. Any Response ?

The Poll for the NJAC had votes as follow, Rowan 11 Kean 8  Cort 4  MSU 3. Thats 26 people voting and not even 50% making comments. I guess this is the ultra secret hush hush NJAC board. Rosters are not even posted. Well, enough bitching. The D3 Crew had Montclair (6-4 and 5-2) while JT had us 7-3 and 5-2). You can't really argue, but I have a different opinion if we can play hard and focused for 60 minutes every game. You can make an argument that we have the toughest schedule in D3, especially out of conference. We will be battle tested for the NJAC and look out. I can't disagree with the pre-positioning of the NJAC. Rowan is the one to beat, Cortland always plays tough and their QB should be healed, Kean is good and lets see if they can live up to their lofty pre-season props. A weak out of conference schedule may get them close to the Top 25 before the start of the NJAC. I really like MUS as the Underdog. IMHO Montclair has a real chance this year. It sounds pretty good,The year of the Red Hawk. Here we go, here's a cocky pick, Montclair 8-2  7-0  NJAC Champs !!!

you certainly had a trip there. I actually have family in Cazanovia, Chittenango nad the rest of that area... Actually grew up 10 miles from Morrisville(Canastota) Thinking about making a trip up when Wesley plays Morrisville in Nov. But that will be a late decision with the  weather conditions permiiting..
Football !!! The ultimate team sport. Anyone who plays DIII football is a winner...

There's no P in Binghamton.  You have to hold it until you are outside the City limits. :)

At Wilkes, At Springfield, vs. Wesley is pretty tough.

At Christopher Newport, At Wilkes, vs. Widener might end up being pretty rough too.

Versus CNU and at UW-Whitewater is another good schedule. (UMHB)

gordonmann

So is at NC Wesleyan, versus Wesley, at Rowan (Widener's schedule)

If any of these teams get in the Playoffs -- and I'm sure some of them will -- they will certainly be battle-tested.

K-Mack,
The Rowan out of conference is a tough one, but not as tough as the one Montclair has. Be assured that Montclair and Rowan will be battle tested when the NJAC starts.

Any ideas when Rosters will be on the web sites?

Ralph,
UMHB has no walk in the park with those 2 teams. Montclair still the toughest.

Teams that play challanging out of conference games only help themselves for their conference games.

Can't wait for the season to start !!!

Any news on how the Montclair camp is going?

Heard the they boys are taking cold showers, no hot water in one of the dorms ??? Not sure if anyone mentioned it to the staff.

I know they are in the gym and attending a lot of meetings. Anyone know when the Lackawanna scrimmage is ?
