any word on Smith or the kid with the concussion? Any idea if they'll be back on the field this year?  Tough break... hope you boys stay healthy the rest of the season.  musta been some game though 71-7.  Bombers just figured you guys were trying to copy us with the whole rain/ lightning delay.  Bomber game got delayed 1.5 hrs, with 3 mins left to go in the 1st half.  (Halftime was 5 mins long)

No word on Smith, and yeah it is a really tough break.  Miles is a fine QB too though.  We were fine last season until we lost Miles too.  Then things got dicey...

At least we got our games in.  I read West Conn's game was canceled altogether.

By the way, I loved you in They Live.  And that time you smacked Jimmy Snuka in the head with a coconut...freaking hilarious!

rams1102 -not sure what game you were watching,  the Wilkes score could have easily been 7-0 MSU or a Wilkes win by 3 or 7.
Based on your squawking prior to the game , I expected MSU to win big and be much better then Willy P. I saw niether during the game.

First Downs - 11 MSU  , 13 WU
Total YDS MSU 249 , WU 200
Time Of Possesion MSU 28+ Mins,  WU 31+ so stat wise the game was very even and ALL the scores were the results of big breaks:

MSU gets short field due to a bad punt and a face mask penalty, WU gets short field due to a long INT return. MSU gets short field due to big kickoff return and a really cheap defensive pass interference call.Both defenses played outstanding and I think both teams knew they were in a good , hard hitting game.

WU is still getting their offense together and the big difference was we avg. 1.2 yds per carry, cannot continue that and win in either the NJAC or MAC.

I would do a little less bragging and pay more attention to the game.

Where was I squawking prior to the game? I always respect our oponents. Please get the correct person when you make a statement. I said after the game we should have won 21-0 based on a forced int in the red zone and a few other things. What about the punt you blocked on us? I always stated Wilkes was a well coached team. I still remember our last visit to Ralston when you guys smoked aur arz's. Spoke to a lot of Wilkes parents and fans. Had a great time. I you think I'm bragging, I don't know what you are reading. Looking at stats can be deceptive. Your facts on the stats are correct. If you look at the Willy P stats and overlooked the turnovers, boy wilkes looked good, and still you almost won. Gook luck the rest of the year.

Yeah you dont have to remind me how well you boys did without smith, and miles, and the other back up.  beating us at Cortaca w/ the 4th string QB and a bunch of bench guys is still hard to think about.  Stay healthy, and keep us posted on Smith.

I'll do the bragging than...Our defense dominated you!! throw the stats out the window...at no point did I think you guys had a shot even when you had good field position. The tailback was good, one of the receivers ran very good routes but your o line was def not getting it done, they were just to slow especially number 75... wow he was bad!! If you read my prior posts I mentioned time and time again that Wilkes will not be able to handle the team speed and it showed all game!!

Do you have any dirt on the Brockport game for Saturday.  I know its only Wed but I hate Brockport, their crusty field, those green uniforms, and that rotten ride to their school.  The only good thing at Brockport is that phat dinning hall.
