Man did Posada take shot.  Some 6' 2" meathead on the Red Sox tried running him over at the plate. Posada held on to the ball and stayed in the game.  Clean play all around, even though I hate the Red Sox.

MONTCLAIR STATE WHAT!!!!!!

Amazing game today at "Same Mills Stadium" 4 well played quarters by my boys!!!! Offense, DeFense, and Special Teams  all came to play today...hats off to Springfield but The Red Hawks were hitting today and they were hitting hard...2-0 bring on Wesley!

Nice talking to you after the game. The boys gave it 110% for 60 minutes. This was one of the best games I have seen the Red Hawks play in a long time. At the beginning of the season I was hoping to go 2-0 but thought 1-1 would be realistic. I thought we had a chance at Wilkes. I said after the Wilkes game this may be a special season, but after today I am starting to believe. Springfield is an awsome team, but the Red Hawks stepped up on both sides of the ball. Great game today and let's go for 3-0 in Dover, Delaware. See everyone there.

LET'S  GO  MIGHTY  RED  HAWKS  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Freshman QB Tim Hagerty named Player of the Weekend by a Phily Daily News columnist.

It looks like our boy Adam from ATR will need to move some NJAC teams up in his rankings.

It's finally here, Widener vs Rowan, or soon to be called the "The Commodore Barry Bowl".

It sounds like this is not a Rowan team of recent memory.  Widener is an up and comer.  Any thoughts.

Are they going to play for the WAWA cup?

Bman and I discussed the "Wawa Cup" last year.  He even knew someone in the marketing group at Wawa Corporate.  He asked him if they would be interested in sponsoring the game.  The answer was NO.

Other potential names:

- The War on 322
- The "We couldn't get into Rutgers / Temple" Bowl
- "Both are schools are closer to the Delaware Valley than Delaware Valley College Game"
- "Battle of the name our school after a rich donor Bowl"
and finally...
- "The battle to decide who has the cheesiest mascot Bowl"

Nothing as of yesterday, I will be going out of town today, back late Friday. If I hear anything in the next few hours, I'll let ya'll know.  I spoke to some of the boys after the Springfield game, all I heard was "we just beat the ninth ranked team in the nation."  !!!!  So I thnk they are pumped plus they played a tough game, as a team and the result was a big win for these guys. They are intense and I hope they bring their intensity down to Delaware with them.

Go Red Hawks !

We have to keep up the intensity for Wesley. In my opinion this is a better team then Springfield. They have a ton of wepons. That being said, if we give it 110% for 60 minutes we may be saying that "we just beat the 7th ranked team in the nation." !!! See ya in Dover !!!
