Pat,

I just sent an e-mail to Adam

Rams,
I never received any e-mail from your address ... at least the one you use to post on this site with. My apologies for not leading with the NJAC, but when a team upsets the No. 5 ranked team in the land, that's what I'm going with.

I think there was a problem when I sent it. It appears that your reporting tends to lean to the UP-State crowd. All I am asking is to spread the NJAC around a little. When Montclair beat #7 Wesley in their place I thought we would be the lead article and it was not. I am not a journalist, just a fan. I realize the work you do is NC. Thanks for the job you do.
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

As a fan, I say we have not peaked. If we take care of business against a tough Buff St. the balance of the year will be very interesting. If we take last weeks loss as a building block we will be OK. I'm sure Coach G. and his staff know what to do.

Wow,
That response was as cocky as I would expect from Pat. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!!!

No big deal.  It just tells me that about 50% of the fans in the East are left with a little less that D3football.com can really offer to its fans.

Hey Texan!!!

also 1+k for rams as promissed

Sir,
The response to rams was not meant to be cocky, and I hope it wouldn't come off as such. If it did, I apologize. My point was that since I felt the biggest news of Saturday's games was Hartwick upsetting the 5th ranked St. John Fisher Cardinals, that was the lead for the column.
Maybe next week, Cortland or Rowan or TCNJ would be the lead, depending on what happens when the games are played. And also, to all who say I don't give the NJAC enough play, I believe that's semi-untrue. I get as much as I can into each column about the NJAC... I'm on mailing lists with three different NJAC schools, and I keep up with it as best I can on the site, so it's definitely not a purposeful slight by any means.
I try to do the best I can, but I can't keep everyone happy all the time. If you have suggestions or any news on the NJAC teams, please e-mail me at the adam.samrov@d3football.com address. I can't guarantee a reply right away, but I read all the e-mail and I definitely take all ideas, criticisms, feedback and everything else into account.
I do appreciate you and everyone else reading the column.

dewcrew88,

You still did not answer my question of why you did not lead with Montclair after we beat #7 Wesley on their field 9-22-07. In any event thanks for your efforts and send a little more love to the NJAC. ;) I also realize you have a thankless job and you can never please everyone.

dewcrew88,

You came on the forum and defended yourself like a man without having to put up your dukes.  You earned my respect, eventhough I still don't like your E8 and LL bias ::)

Any effort to enhance the coverage of D3football should be more appreciated.

No MSU has not peaked, the NJAC is one of the best conferences in the Country, Buff State, TCNJ, Rowan, Cortland, and even now Montclair South I meant Kean....The coaches are very good and the players are extremely athletic, the margin for error is very small!....We def did not peak, we got a reality check that you must play every game  like your playing a Wesley and no one is going to roll over for you!!! We took one on the chin and everyone is ready to get back on the field and put it on buff State for 60 mins with some hard hitting MISTAKE FREE football...If anything its a tribute to the level of competition that the NJAC is at...

Go Red Hawks

Andy Larkin returns interception 82 yards for a score to tie the game.  Can the Lions do it again?

gordonmann

Yes, they can.

A Rowan fumble with under 2 minutes left sets up the Lions at the Profs' 12.

TCNJ picks up a first down, calls a timeout with 8 seconds left and gets a 19-yard field goal from senior Matt Dalessio to win it.
