Couldn't agree more Phil. Last week I got angry because the NCAA had Curry #2 in the East. The more I looked into the criteria they use I understand how they are in the top ten...but...I know, you know...and anyone who is into D3 football knows that Curry (even though they do deserve credit in their league because they are impressive in their league) do not belong in the top ten of the East. In the end everyone will see why when they go 1 and out in the NCAA and their conference is 0-9 in the tourney.

I'd take the Rowan JV giving 14 no sweat.

I'm not quite sure I'd go that far...or at least not this year...
what are you talking about Pg...Soopahman could beat Curry playing by himself, with one hand tied behind his back

aaaaaand there's '57.

Even this year.  No problem Rowan JV giving 14.  Any team in the NJAC giving 24.5

The problem is lessons are never learned.  They get over-ranked by the NCAA every season, and every season they get beaten down in the first round.  Considering the rankings, and the way good teams in quality conferences are knocking each other off left and right, Curry is almost certainly going to get a home game in the first round.  Ridiculous.  The NEFC representative should be seeded no higher than #8 in the playoffs until someone actually wins a game.

Hey JT -

Long time no chat.  How you holding up with Rowan and the Yanks' tough year?

Lot of talk out here in La La Land about Torre joining the Dodgers.

Rowan's a good club, lot of young talent with some significant injuries.  Realistically they are a handful of plays from being undefeated.  It just isn't their year.  Would be nice to see them win the last two and finished 6-4.

This 5' 7" QB has a brass set of balls. He'll put a shoulder into an LB or DB.  He's small but is pretty thick.  He can run and throw.  He's got a cannon.  Its gonna be fun watching him run around throwing darts the next three years.  The best receivers are freshman and sophomores.  Good running backs coming up behind two seniors.

Best linebackers in the NJAC, and most of them are sophomores.  Secondary is a little young but they'll mature.  Good dline... oline needs to improve over the offseason. Give the QB Hagerty and the young receivers a full offseason together.  I think Profs will be battling late for the NJAC title in 2008.

The NJAC is getting better top to bottom so there aren't any gimmies anymore.

The Yankees well... at least A-Rod is f*cking gone.  He's probably the greatest player, but what an azzhole.  Let him poison another team's lockerroom.  Girardi is a good choice.  Good young pitching.  Maybe w/o A-Rod we can get Johan Santana.  We need one or two big right handed bats and a third baseman.

I think the Yanks will be in the hunt next year.

I posted them on Monday. I just checked and they are not there. I will do it again tonight.
Believe it or not I'm in the lead. Check later tonight. Your boys are on a roll, good luck the rest of the year.

Is Glassboro turning into Jersey City?
Rowan

Poor kid never had a chance.  Read yesterday that when they mugged him, he tore an artery in his neck.  Apparently took a couple of blows to the head and a kick to the stomach.  Cops believe they might have a suspect's picture from the camera inside the mini-mart.  They might have stopped there before mugging the Rowan student.

PA_wesleyfan

It's Not just Rowan. Last month a student at Kutztown was killed by three men from Allentown Pa. just looking for someone to beat up and in todays local paper, two football players from Kutztown charged with assaulting someone walking by their house. Broke both his jaws. Drinking and thuggery are bad mixes everywhere
Football !!! The ultimate team sport. Anyone who plays DIII football is a winner...

I don't think booze was invovled in the Rowan incident. It was a group of thugs looking to rob a student.
