...had an MRI and a doctor who recommended surgery — only to have the surgeon (best in Houston supposedly), tell me my bod should take care of it. Meanwhile, I'm in month three of pain — tho' at least I can get a good nights sleep now. Therapy is hot tubs, swimming and jacuzzi — there are certainly pluses to living down here! And there's nothing numb so far, tho' there are worse places than the foot to have permanent numbness! :D

Catch a few bball games for me. TCNJ hasn't won an NCAA game since the Greg Grant era. Don't see that changing anytime soon. Grant was recently named by SI as one of the three best 5'7" NBA players of all time. Of course, how many were there?!

Phil,

Take care of that back. I agree with Pat. You appear a little kinder gentler. We all know that's a lot of crap. ;) Good luck to TCNJ tomorrow. They have a tough one ahead of them. Git-r-done !!!

Young Cougar, I only dislike you guys once a year. :)

Only once a year, but what about basketball, soccer, baseball, track and field etc.  I hate all the schools all the time except during football season and if they are the only NJAC team left in the post season.  ;D

OK, let me re-phrase, once during football season. ;)

Be well Phil.  And enjoy today's webcast.

Give 'em hell Dave.  Best of luck to our NJAC brothers against Albright today.

Dan,

Come back with a "W" against those Union guys.

Long live the NJAC.

Next year we need to take 2 teams to the dance.

I'm leaving for Sam Mills Field right now.

Doubtful. I had a piece of a herniated disc break off and lodge against a nerve. I'm barely functioning and can only manage about 20-25 minutes sitting in a car — although I can highly recommend the Vicadin/Valium combination I have. Surgeon said it should be absorbed by the body in 6 months+. Meanwhile no airplanes. Missed two business trips so far — one back to Jersey.

This is the first TCNJ playoff game I've ever missed. I would have loved to have made the trip to New York. As far as a trip to Ohio is concerned... I doubt I would have made the trip even if TCNJ was lucky enough to win this weekend. I wonder what the athlete to student ratio is in MUCsville these days. Is it one in ten plays football now? That's not a dynasty, that's THE institution. Great if you love football...

TCNJ has little margin for error it seems. Three turnovers committed in the redzone against Kean, plus a couple long pass plays doomed them against the Cougars. Do the same against RPI and TCNJ will lose in a rout. Play like they did against Montclair and Cortland, control the clock and win the turnover battle and they'll do well. Should TCNJ win, the following week would become little more than a curiosity to me. MUC does football. I'd be curious to see if TCNJ could score while keeping them under 40. Real interesting. I know the NCAA did the right thing in seeding the top four teams this way, but I still would have liked to have seen a true Eastern champ crowned. You follow the numerous in-region teams all year and you'd like to see who the last team standing would be. Do we just send the Lambert Cup for best Eastern team out to Ohio?

Nope.  MUC is not part of it.  Probably goes to the East runner up if Mount takes the region.

NICE WIN for CNJ.  Great job on the road vs. RPI.  GOOD LUCK next week. Go get the purple raiders in Alliance.  Way to represent the NJAC

Not a good showing by the LL today, going 0-4....

Good luck next week TCNJ in ohio, hopefully your D is as good as you say it is to keep it close....

Do you have any athletes in the secondary that can keep up with Frenchy (Garcon)??

rams1102

Congratulations Montclair on your hard fought victory over Albright.

Thanks for a fun season and I'm looking forward to 2008. To the McCoaches and (congrats on Ryan's ECAC MVP), and the DePascual clan. I learned a little more football this year. Finailly, Fast Freddy, it was fun talking to you this year and also learning some football from you. It was OK to talk with me at today's game until the good looking blonde with the sun glasses came by. ;) Look forward to seeing you next year. I hear we have a QB coming in next year with some credentials.
