I am so pissed I was not able to make the game!!!! From what many people have told me, it sounded like it was a war for four quarters. Although we lost, I think there are several positives we can take away from this game and move forward with. When you come within a few plays of upsetting a top 25 team with a QB that does not even have a whole game under his belt no less, I think it says something for the capability of this team. Finish this season out 9-1, just like the man said "Keep Pounding" and maybe we'll get our shot at Cortland again, now on to TCNJ!!!

Speaking of which, if there are any MSU Football alums on this forum, about 50 of us will be at the train station around 2 o'clock for homecoming. Should be a very fun day, Dave come by for a beer buddy!!!

Are you allowed to tailgate at the train station ? Inquiring minds want to know, specifically my parents. What about the parking lot next to the Red hawk Deck. ?

RedHawk

We have never had a problem before, kept the music low and brought garbage bags for the trash..Tell your parents to get to the lot somewhat early it does fill up quickly...Good luck this week buddy!!!

When do we get to see a Montclair-Rowan show down?  Montclair, Rowan and Kean should all be great games when those three hook up and get busy.  I'm pretty fired up to see Cortland head over to West Conn on Saturday.

The last (2) games of the year. At least you guys got to them early. It will be a real war. There is no love lost between any of us. It was a hell of a game this past Saturday. Good luck to you guys the rest of the year.

XRed,

I'll be with you at West Conn saturday...I'm predicting a focused Cortland team going into this game as I'm sure the Coaches are working them extra hard to avoid a let-down against a West Conn team nobody should sleep on.  West Conn has been close in both of their losses besides the Rowan blowout from the past weekend.

XREDDRAGON77

My last few trips to Danbury all ended happilly, but also nerve racking in the process.  West Conn always plays tough but always seems to come up short.  Lets hope Coach Mac and company keep it that way.  I might have to stop at the Ducatti dealer down the road from the campus and see all the hot bikes that I will never own :-\

Big Ups for the mention of Cortland State's stadium in the ATN column.  I was told that it would be completed by my Jr. season, which would have been in '99.   That place is $ in terms of small school facilities.

Good Luck this weekend fellas!!!!!

excellent ATN article this week.   good job keith

Great article on Cortlands stadium, I have been partial to old Chugger Davis field, especially when all the portable bleachers were brought in and it was packed for Cortaca.  I always wished they remodeled it, but this isn't major league baseball, and they did a fantastic job with the new one, creating a multi-purpose complex.  Cortland certainly has been able to develop a strong home field advantage playing in front of the sea of red in recent years.
