Cortland treated poor West Conn like trash in a 41-14 beat down.  Cortland took 3 knees from the 1 going in to end the game. Dragons looked good.

Good game for the Red Hawks today....Had to have over 500 yards on the offensive side of the ball, way to bounce back!!!! Now onto TCNJ!!

I still think that TCNJ could potentially knock off either Rowan, Cortland or Montclair. Please note that I used the word "potentially", which is a far cry from the post about Kean above. The Lions could very well be 6-0 — not that they deserve to be with their defensive foibles. It will be very interesting to see how they do against the NJAC "big 3". Next season could be very interesting...

Congrats to Cortland for a big road win at West Conn.  I'm thinking the Red Dragons haven't even reached their full potential yet, which is scary.  Look for them to be a major force down the stretch!

Just got back from the 58-14 drubbing of Morrisville.  Looks like Rowan has reloaded.  Now whether it is the 2005 version which was a starting quarterback away from beating the National Champs, or the 2006 version that reached St. John Fisher out of gas, remains to be seen.

Granted Morrisville was without their starting QB, still the two backups were running for their lives. Seven sacks and probably twice as many knockdowns. Six turnovers and three blocked punts.  The team can still improve.

We will see what happens the rest of the way.  Profs can drop any of the four remaining games if they play badly or have key injuries,  but they are certainly a Pool C candidate.

Exciting game at TCNJ.  WPU had there changes.  The defense came up big in the second half.  I agree the Lions have the offensive power to shock either the redhawks, cotland, and or Rowan.  However, the defense is suspect.  If they can improve the lions can spoil some playoff hopes.

In my years of watching the Lions, it is a treat watching the offense running up and down the field.  The rest of the season shall be exciting.  MSU away can be a challenge within itself.

For some reason they always come up with those few surprising wins in a year...  I can't wait to see the outcome of the Cortland-Brockport game, as they certainly know each other well

Just got back fromn Elkins, West Virginia, Homecoming Weekend, Fraternity Reunion and a big Soccer game.

Wow, 45 points, but giving up 28 not so good. Fischer back at QB, whats-up? By looking at the box score we were out passed. Were we giving up the long pass again? Any observations on the game will be appreciated.

What a way to end the season, TCNJ, W. Conn, Rowan & Kean. Three of the four can't stand each other and W.Conn is no walk in ithe park.

Time to chill out and relax, it's been a long day.

LET'S  GO  MIGHTY  RED  HAWKS  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dave,

MSU broke a record for I believe most offensive yards in a game with 560??...Towards the end of the half, probably about a minute to go, Buff State had two passing td's both were pretty good individual efforts and from the looks of it we were in a cover two, the db and SS were not on the same page. I am assuming adjustments were made at the half bc it did not happen again. Our offense was very very explosive, both of our RB's had over 100 yards rushing, and Fischer through for 3 or 4 td's. Our receivers made some really nice catches in traffic, all rallied around Fischer. The rest of the season is going to be very exciting!!! Dave as you know it is Homecoming, we will all be at the train station around 2pm (maybe a little earlier) hope you will come over and have a beer with us, I'll introduce you to many of the guys you have routed for over the years, I am sure they would love to meet our biggest fan!

What's up with the QB situition? Boysen looked good against Cortland. We have to stop giving up the deep pass. It will soon kill us. See you at the Train Station. Time to make a run for the playoffs and no better way to start off with TCNJ.

Cortland looked good in there big game at west conn...like dragon59 said, if we can put it all together this could end up being the best season ever for the dragons
No matter where we go, it's about who we are.......C-STATE!!!!!!!!

XREDDRAGON77

Yes they did look good!  They just can't let one go against TCNJ, WP, or Brockport.  Brockport scares me most as they have had our number since 1996 on a consistant basis regarless of their record.  As for the Cortaca Jug.....the Big 50th Anniversary, and I am sure both parties will be ready to war it out.  I hate to say it but I am more concerned with getting the Pool A bid than dropping an NJAC game and looking for a Pool C by beating IC.
