Congrats to Cortland.  This team could be really, really good but...with the exception of Willy P, I don't think that you will find a team that doesn't feel that they should have beaten Cortland.  Yet we are 8-0. We have found ways to win...a mark of a good team.  If we want to be competetive at a national level, we have to get more consistent.  We have much work to do.

They remind me of Ohio State's 2002 team, lots of close games, strong defense and running game.  You are exactly right, they have to make another jump and keep improving.

Rowan Week!!!!!!!!!!!! You have be fired up for this one...MSU is dangerous right now and I will tell you why, for the majority of the year everyone has spoken about how dominate the defense is. Our offense has kind of crept through the back door if you will; this offense has broken the record for total yards from scrimmage. Think about that, Ed Collins, Eric Magrinie, Jameal Dorsey, Ron Lewis, Steve Armstrong, Eugene Vick, you can even go back further the lists goes on of All-Americans as well as players who have continued on at the next level. The past few games our offense has been running on all cylinders, we are peaking at the right time. Just in time for Rowan to come into our house and catch a doughnut, I can't wait for my boys to put it on Rowan all day on Saturday!!!!

Should be a good game.  Looks like Rowan can score but we all have heard about the MSU defense.  Rowan looks like they have been locking teams down but again MSU has shown an offensive pulse.  Now Cortland needs to finish off Brockport.

Congratulations to the Red Hawks being Ranked #21 in both the D3football.com and the AFCA Coaches Poll.

A lot to live up to, and no better way to live up to the #21 National Rankings is to take care of business this Saturday at Sam Mills Field against a very tough Rowan team. You gotta want it bad !!!

110-60 and "Keep Pounding"

On a side note, I usually have my Cortaca tickets by now and I am starting to get nervous.  If I have to break my 5 year streak so some girl who has no knowledge of anything about the game can go drunk and leave early just because she is a student, I will be pissed!  Anyone know of any extra tickets floating around?

Cstate19, are you a former player?  What years?  It would be a shame to see your streak end.  There just might be some people who have some extra tickets still.

No I was a SPM students and have gone since my freshman year (the Ryan DeCamp GW).  Im also the guy who hung up the famous sign with my dad.  I worked promotions for the football team senior year.

Beware the Brockport Trap!

Coming off 4 straight wins, this certainly appears to be a dangerous group coming into Cortland this week.  But the thinking here is CState will step on the throttle and start playing at a higher level.  It's time to play November football!

I hate Brockport, with the lone exception of the few kids I coached that now go there.  Time to step it up and no let downs.

I agree, I doubt that Cortland will look ahead, especially with "Home Field Advantage" until the semifinals in the grasp.
