I just love it , you beating a dead horse with the loss to Mt Ida . I really don't think you can . You'll find out today when the dragon slayer comes to your house. I have seen both teams play, you have a disadvantage today.

                                  GO CURRY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cortland 42  Curry 0
So much for that prediction. Curry might have had trouble beating a dead horse today. Cortland played 9 games in the NJAC and didn't beat anybody by the margin they beat Curry today. In fact four of Cortland's NJAC victories were by one touchdown or less – and the only team they shut out was Paterson (whom I'm sure would be amenable to schedule a home and home series with Curry).

Perhaps the report of the demise of the NJAC has been a bit exaggerated...

Ok Ok I'm eating crow as we speak. I was listening to it on the stream. It was all field position today. My hats off to thier punter, pinning them down every punt. I was very surprised Curry couldn't get going. Seems like PSU gave them a better game. Now get the job done and beat Mt Union.

Congrats Cortland
for the love of the game

Cortland, congratulations on the shutout keep on repping the NJAC!! Best of luck next week

Great game by Cortland.  The NJAC love is appreciated.  NLNG...thanks for the wishes.  I agree that PSU was the tougher of the two.  If you guys could only get a consistent passing game....

Go Red Dragons!

JT

Maybe Cortland has some finish in them yet.  Good job Dragons.

Nice job winning by the double Monkey Stomp.

As another of the NEFC guys I also want to add my congrats to Cortland.  I am also surprised Curry couldn't get going but I think that is due to an outstanding game plan and superb execution by the Cortland defense.  My hats off to Miles who I think played an outstanding game.

I would love to see Cortland beat MUC.  I know I'll be rooting for you.

Earlier today I checked the NCAA page and it had the Stagg bracket listed for the upcoming quaterfinals.  They had Cortland listed as 12-1 v Mount Union 12-0.  Cortland is 11-1 while Mount is 12-0.   I will take this as an Omen to an upset.  I might have to make the 7.5 hour ride out to Aliance to see this happen.

Well, I'd say that the selection committee knew of what they speak by failing to invite an NJAC at large representative. It would seem that the once mighty conference has dropped a few pegs by looking at their representatives to the ECAC games and how they got whooped up on by their MAC opponents. I was looking for a very competitive game between DVC and Kean, but the Aggies just ran rough-shod over Kean and their potent NJAC offense was non-existent for the entire first half, and only showed flashes in the second half. When you looked at their size vs DelVal one would have expected them to run with success all day long, but that was not the case as the Aggies defense shut down their feature back.

Funny how this argument turned out, isn't it?  The MAC champion got soundly beaten in round 1 by Hobart.  Meanwhile the NJAC champion is headed to Alliance, Ohio.
