Millikin finishes it's 4 game tour of the SLIAC. They win by 25.
WC over IW by 20
FU by 10 over BC. FU has to make a statement and Win at Home. Or, the season becomes very very long.

JoeVegas - Not sure what Coach Schafer can do different at this point. It's a small sample size. But, you have 4 players all avg. 15+ mpg and are a combined 15-65 fg. that's 23% (5-33 from 3's 15%). You can't win with that.

You got Greenlee shooting a respectful 48 FG% avg. 11.5 ppg and leads with 6.5 rpg. Ettinger is a freshmen 2 guard avg. 16.2 ppg and 51 FG%, both team highs, 3.5 rpg and 89 FT% (getting to the line 28 times). Rucker is a good undersized PF. DeGeere needs to stay out of foul trouble. Need more minutes from him. Bakis has to get more minutes.

That's your top 8 players. If you don't shoot it well, you better rebound. But this isn't a Big rebounding group. Getting out rebounded by 10 ppg. Nathan Riechart may be a guy that can give you something going forward. Tucker is 6'8 and in 30 minutes of play has Zero rebounds and 1 PF. Zero rebounds? Needs to start mixing it up. I have to think Quinn is just not healthy.

So when you say they need to change something, I'm not sure what the Coach can do. IMHO

And the big question of the day is... is Coach Creal prepping Mac to play a Eureka team that has the Lobdells, or is he preparing to meet the Devils without the Lobdells.... surely someone out there that reads this is just dying to tell us what the answer is...

For sure I would get the ball to Greenlee down low a lot.   Degear seems to get in trouble on man defense.  This team should try a 3-2 or 1-3-1 zone defense.  And not try to have four guards in game at same time unless they need full court pressure.   I did talk to someone about Guinn not being healthy.  He had a sprained knee and was pretty sick.  So hopefully he can start contributing more.  Also heard Jackson left team.   Bottom line. They need to rebound better and shoot better.

Whoa, how DID this happen??  The write up on the Millikin website doesn't say much, 22-11 FT advantage for Prin is a little telling, I suppose. 22 fouls for MU in the 2nd half vs. 6 in the 1st, although many down the stretch.  Had to be a tremendous defensive effort by Prin, also.

Big game tonite for the Griffins. A loss and this season could get away fast. After BC, FU has @ WU, @ Elmhurst, @ Concordia - IL, vs Wash U, @ Spalding, @ IWC....... Griffin's need to play good D and find away to score enough points against the Beavers. This squad needs some confidence. Saturday's match up with WU will be tough. FU does not have the Bigs to match up with Huskey and Miller. But, some shooting confidence would go along way against WU's zone defense.
