Thanks, hopefan. That'll be helpful.  Also, was told by a reader of this board that if you Google "Spalding men's basketball Ustream," there may a live feed available and there has been in the past. Anyway, thought I'd pass the info along.

Women's game is being broadcast and can be watched online, so surely the men's game will be as well. To find the link, go to "Spalding U Athletics" twitter account. They provided the link for the women's game. Also, that twitter account provides minute-by-minute updates for those that can't watch but can follow.

Correct, hope. Perhaps a little halftime summary would be nice though if you want.

Tidbits from a trip to Spalding:

I picked the right day to drive over to Louisville :  Those who went on Friday (the team, several of the parents) ran into snow and ice storms that made the drive treacherous, though all made it safely from what I heard... By going over Saturday, I was greeted with clear roads and a glistening landscape as every tree was covered with ice and snow and lit up by a clear day's sun...
Wandered down the street from spalding's gym and ran into Webster men's team and coaches having lunch... entertaining conversation with Coach Bunch
Girl's game was ugly, but exciting as the Gorlassies pulled out the win
Talked to Will Barber in the lobby.. out with a broken hand.. must be healing though, no cast, just taped up fingers
Geesh, lose Will Barber, gain Dominique Sangester... they just keep coming
Spalding fans have surpassed Mac and Fontbonne as worst at giving referees grief.. one loudmouth during the ladies game was just plain stupid... fortunately he didn't stay for the men's game...Although I will say the referees for the women's game were AWFUL... taking the calling of handcheck fouls to a new level..

And now ... the men

Kevin Miller...what a warrior... took a real beating the whole game and still maintained his position down low....Ahmad Smith didn't shoot well, but I thought played well against Spalding's full court pressure
Hunter Ward.. did he read  my words?? Came out and hit two jump shots right away... now then, why can't this kid find 12 - 14 shots in game rather than 6-8.. more to the basket... he's wasted on the 3 point line
Hollis Edwards did a great job too against the pressure.. unbelievable amount of work in the minutes he played...unfortunately forced a couple things at the end that hurt any comeback bid
Aaron Griffith.... disappeared... hardly saw the ball... why?
And  wow... my 3 frosh who I've raved about were no match for the experienced savvy guards of Spalding... Blakemore, Gabriel, Turner ate them up.... After a poor performance in the first half, I was surprised when Coach put them in together again in the 2nd half.. Spalding's 3 point lead increased to 9, and Webster didn't get close again...I thought inserting one or 2 of the frosh at a time might have worked better, but Coach must like the 'platoon' method...
In reality, the last four minutes of the game showed some similarities to the game at Webster when Webster had the miracle comeback... problem was, Gorlocks missed two or 3 critical shots that would have tightened the score, and twice Spalding missed shots and got offensive rebounds allowing them to take more time off the clock...finally Webster HAD to foul in the last minute and it was over...

Brandon Gabriel.. may be best point guard in the conference and he doesn't start!!!  Dominique Sangester sits out two thirds of the season and plays like a first team all conference player!!!   I commented That Spalding was eating up Webster's zone and that Webster was fortunate to be within 2 at half.. why? if Spalding hadn't missed several unchallenged bunnies, or if Brandon (mad bomber) Goeing had been hitting from 3's, Webster is down double digits at half... Goeing's 3's in the second half were keys to Spalding's win... and Brandon Gabriel just did a whole lot to create good shots for his teammates....

So Webster has 3 losses, Mac 2, Spalding 1
Spalding has a killer schedule left, but they are good enough, I don't expect them to falter... they have at Mac, at Greenville, and Westmin home
Mac has Spalding at home, at Fontbonne, and IWC at home
If Mac beats Spalding, and Spalding beats Westmin and Greenville, Mac and Spalding will finish with two losses, duplicate win and losses vs everyone, and it will come down to the Technical Foul tie breaker.. I believe Spalding will have the advantage with that one.... Of course Spalding games vs Westmin and Greenville are huge... If Westmin or Gville could score the upset, they'll be ahead for 4th, and they could crush Spalding's tournament host aspirations.  Of course, if Spalding wins at Mac, it's all over.. Spalding first, Webster Mac in the 2-3  game, tiebreaker between Westmin and Greenville for 4th (I think Westmin has the advantage unless there is a random T foul out there....)

Methinks we're facing another trip to Louisville for the Conference tourney...
