He's Baaack!!!!!! SU's Will Barber returns from being out with broken hand. 27 minutes off the bench. Shoots 8 for 12 and 3-5 from 3's. A tidy 20 pts. This changes things. He can carry a team.

The combo of Barber and Sangester is VERY good... Barber looked unsteady in the first half, until he hit a 3 pointer at the buzzer..smooth as silk in 2nd half, and really took over the game...What this seems to have done at least last night, was to take Brandon Goeing out of his role as 3 point shot guy.. he started, missed a shot, came out, and hardly played the rest of the game.., Gabriel got most of the minutes at point, and at one time, Sangester seemed to be playing the point role....so you have 4 guys as good as anyone in the conference playing 4 positions (Gabriel, Barber, Sangester, Blakemore,) not to mention Hamilton who is also in that rotation, and Brandon Goeing who can light it up any time... along with a reasonable 3 man rotation in the middle... tough, very tough....  Denny hit the nail on the head... the return of Barber to join Sangester in the lineup seems to put them over the top

What can still beat them... a super night from Kevin Miller or Clayton Whitlock, and lockdown defense not giving up open shots..Mac beat them with aggressive Defense.. Webster couldn't stop them last Saturday... and Barber didn't play against either of them....

Fu gets 25 from Ettinger and 21 from Greenlee in their win over IWC. Where is JoeVegas? The Griff's get 3 wins in 10 days and not a Peep?

Joe Vegas is likely in one of 2 modes

Hopefully.... 'Wait til next year!'

Hopefully not....  'I give up'

The final "Big Game" of the season is Westmin at Spalding... a Westmin upset would give Mac the conference Championship and host role, but I've seen Spalding's last 3 games and it's hard for me to come up with a game plan that Westmin could use that could beat Spalding... to me, the only scenario would be for Westmin to have a super shooting night, and to also keep Spalding limited to one shot per possession.... .. it's a lot to ask...and poor Westmin.. will likely have to face them again on Thursday!!

So, do I go to Eureka at Webster tomorrow, or Mac at Fontbonne

Why would it likely be WC playing Thursday? Have u figured out the WC - GC tiebreaker?

Spalding and Westminster are the only two teams to finish the regular season on Saturday. Everyone else has to play their final games on Tuesday.

Denny.. I believe Westmin has no T's in conference play.. this was confirmed to me by a Westmin player on Wednesday... I don't know if Greenville had any going into last night, but they got one last night when a Gville player and a Spalding player had a one second push each other off the ball...totally stupid call.. (now then I see the box score says no Techs, but I thought the ref gave the T sign.. it may have just been a foul against each player)...  If the t Foul count doesn't come into play, Westmin will win the strength of schedule tiebreaker... all the stuff before the T foul tiebreaker is even... Westmin and Gville have the same wins and losses against the same teams same home and away in conference.

to Yjacks point, I'm assuming Gville wins its final two, or they'll be out anyway, and Mac wins its final two to finish with 2 losses
