For the record: We were up 2 missed a front end of one and one. Still got a stop with a Storandt Block. Going back our way there was a scramble on the floor McCoy came up with it pass to Storandt 40 feet from basket 14 seconds. They call traveling. MH-B takes time out with the ball at half court down two. They had a big time player at guard. Fournie was to pick him up, keep him in front of him and don't foul. They in bound to the Kid, Fournie slaps the floor. The Kid catches it with 14 seconds left. It was frickin catch and shoot from 28 feet. No TO's, Down one we come down McCoy gets a good look from 3, no good. We Foul. FT's and we lose by 3.

Thanks Bunchtime. Thanks for the +K. Look. I'm back to even in the Karma count. Oscar voice! "I want to thank everyone. I been on a slow grind to make up those seven K. I took a small hit after that Balcony Thing, today. But kept fighting the good fight and hoping for the Best." Glad to be here. ;D ;D ;D

This is a Great Link from Cornhusker on NCAA Tournament Page. It's a map showing geographic of all teams in.

That is neat to see, but keep in mind that when the rest of the field is announced, the midwest is going to get far more crowded ... hopefully it will push us south....

Pat's bracket projection has Webster playing Wash U.  I'm expecting that as well.  Good for local fans, disappointing for the players. Probably too hard to pass up in terms of NCAA saving $$.

Denny McKinney

That would SUCK. And, Open the conversation of..... Does Coach Bunch get rooms at the Clayton Hyatt. To get them together. Team dinner at Misso's in downtown Clayton. Shoot around game day. By charter bus. Back to hotel for rest then a light meal. Get on the bus and ride to the game together. Feel the rush of arriving. After game go for some nice food and family time and then go home. By bus. So you get the experience of pulling back on campus.

Like every other 48 teams do. FU got that in '07, Wash U students measured it. FU traveled 85 feet from campus to campus. '08 we earned our way out to MS. '09 I believe Wash U hosted. But, FU went to Chicago at Wheaton. The toughest team around. But, a trip to Chicago was a 100 times better.

Dad went thru the top scenario with the conf. and regional representative. Maybe a couple times. The NCAA is Cheap. But has good people on their committee's. Dad served on Management, Finance, Competition............ and made a lot of great friends. They do not want to send FU or WU to Wash U. If they can find another spot to play the host. I think they will. Somewhere to play IWU or UWW. Or, Centre. This year they can get a lot of teams to StL easy. I think today the experience is considered. These Kids pay a lot to go to these schools. This Div III that has all kind of sayings about Fair, Competition, the Experience.

And Webster's numbers may not add up to God Awful. They played competition and beat Spalding twice who had to have a above average in region SOS. in some cases I've heard you don't even have to win the games.

Keep Believing D3Hoops missed us 2 out of 3. :) ;D ;D

Thank you Mr. Obvious. We all got that. It did say Pool A. I apologize for not posting a disclaimer with the Link. Something from Blue Collar. Like " Here's Your Sign". ??? :o ;D

Denny, I like that idea.  If I were Coach Bunch and my team was sent to Wash U, I think I'd do the same thing as your dad.  Practice at Webster the day before, and then bus over to the team hotel.  Team meeting that night in the hotel and then shoot around the next day. Team meals together and then go play.  It's actually not too different then what a lot of DI teams do when they have a big weekend home game to keep everyone together all in one place, or what every DI football team does for home games.

There is no question in my mind that Webster could play with Wash U... Webster stayed with Wash U the first 17 minutes in the first matchup.. Wash U puuled away at the end of the first half... Webster's Ahmad Smith and Hunter Ward didn't start in that game and their contributions were minimal.. obviously, there's been a different look in the 2nd half of the season... Matt Palucki shot lights out for Wash u, finishing with 32 points, and Lloyd-Silverman hit 4 3 pointers off the bench.. the Gorlocks will have to figure out how to defend the perimiter more tightly..... this could be a very good game were it to line up that way... we'll find out in a couple hours...Travel or no, I'd much rather face Wash U than IWU for the matchups....

The Saint Louis Rams do this. I saw the team at a downtown hotel in October 2012 on a Wednesday before they were playing one of those Thursday night games that gets broadcast by someone -- ESPN???

If it's good enough for the Rams it's good enough for the Gorloks.  :)

We are not thinking about Wash U!!! It's like a pitcher with a no - hitter going. Out of sight, Out of mind. All fingers crossed. Prayers said. Lalalalalalalala. I'm not listening!!!!! Worst case senario, they get to play in front of 3,000 @ The Shirk.

If the send Coach Chris and his team to Wash U. To play Wash U. Let's just say my Karma could take a hit. ;D

We want a Road Trip. We want a Road Trip!!!!

Hopefan, no snark intended here, but as the resident SLIAC fan faithful, one would assume you know that it's spelled "GORLOK" - not "GORLOCK."  Just trying to help a brother out as I've seen you go with the latter spelling for years now.   ;)

BunchTime

Denny, been to 1 game at The Shirk when Maryville played IWU in the NCAA tourney and it is pretty cool place.  Beautiful facilities, a loyal fan base and just an overall excellent atmosphere.  That said, I hear they're pretty tough to beat in that place.  Would be a cool experience for the Gorloks, though.  Plus, that's an easy road trip for us St. Louis folks and a nice college town!

Denny McKinney

Bunchtime are we road tripping. I gave Chris the Best Lee McKinney Pep Talk, I could do. Conversation turned to his wedding reception. How he  had Mom and Dad sitting with you guys. And, a new story. Mom went out and the Bunch's a Hammock. Then he said him and his wife were out shopping and saw the exact hammock. He said he told his wife, "Do you see that and she said. You see how much that cost." he said he felt like he hit the jackpot. Haha

And your story was not brought up. You'd be proud of me.

Road Trip. Road Trip.

it took me a while to get Mac coach Creal's name right... I'll start concentrating on Gorlok now... ;D ;D ;D
