Principia "suspended" football a number of years ago -- I think the same year Blackburn dropped it altogether. Looks like they might have replaced it with rugby because their athletics website shows rugby as a men's sport. Another loss for Webster. Big game Wednesday, do I dare say the winner will be playing for a conference tournament bid....Well after how the last 2 weeks have shaped up who knows what will happen.

Also, Webster is showing how valuable Miller was last season. He was a little bit older than average player and I think he brought some maturity to that team and the locker room that the Gorloks do not have this year. Tough break for him and the Gorloks as they continue to nose dive out of the conference tournament.

EC 69 GC 58. Another huge win in front of a packed and raucous house. EC puts themselves in a real position to make the tournament, path is very realistic: home vs. Westmin and IWC and road vs. BC and Web.

EC women also win 72-66 behind 31 (8 of 13 3s) from Emily Camden and all but assure themselves at least a 3rd seed in the tournament under newly-announced permanent head coach and EC AD, Steve Thompson. Another big day all around for the Red Devils.
