Proffer, Kellogg, and Mugele are young ladies... Kellogg listed at 5' 10" averaged a double double for a team that was under .500.. still apparently a good catch for the Webster ladies

I did say men and women...

I know, just identifying as such...

... and rightly so, given that Cameron is both a boy's name and a girl's name.

And 'Andy' is not totally clear as well (though girls go more with Andi or Andie, but I had a female student who went by Andy).

Let's face it, just about ALL names may be either gender these days.  Remember race car driver Emerson Fitipaldi?  My granddaughter is Emerson (though always called 'Emmy').  (I'm tempted to call her 'Ralph Waldo' and see who gets the reference! 8-))

I let someone else identify their gender.  :-\

Hope says: "my stance has always been that a kid with playing time at a BIG high school, though not necessarily a big scorer, may very well have a better shot at SLIAC success than a kid from a 1A/2A rural school with bigger numbers... the day to day competition he has seen has likely been that much better"  Boy Hope, if that don't flush Dennis out, then he really has fallen off the face of the earth. Did Dennis ever tell you about the time FC won three tournaments in a row with a bunch of farm boys? FREE DENNIS!

it was so much fun to have him on this board. We had Hope's objectivity to Dennis' blatant homerism. That is what makes sports so great. Dennis, please come home.

Question: if the big program kid was on JV for two years, garbage time in year three, reserve in year four...

Greenville has written up their recruiting class....http://www.greenville.edu/athletics/mens/basketball/recruits/index.html

I know they 'gloss' it up each year, but it reads like a wonderful class of Freshmen... some nice size, several shooters for the system...Wondering if any transfers might be coming later?

Still can't figure out why more SLIAC schools don't do writeups like this... Hopefully Webster, Mac will have something soon.. the rest usually ignore the opportunity to publicize the new guys...

Curious about 6'7" Kyler Stork from Normal West H.S. Did Illinois Wesleyan (or other CCIW schools) want him and lose him to Greenville, or did they not think him a CCIW caliber player?

WUPHF

Interesting about Kyler Stork.

Normal West is a big high school, Illinois Class 5A or 6A so to have a kid finish 2nd in school history in blocked shots and 5th in rebounds...

If he committed to Greenville, it may be that the only CCIW school he would have considered is Wheaton.

He has some very nice highlight videos: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/4879310/kyler-stork

I don't have much to add, except that it's a fairly new school (ten years old??).  Records don't go back that far.
