No junior varsity schedules this year for anyone?

No junior varsity schedules this year for anyone?

You may find out over time:

Some of the SLIAC schools will not play JV schedules

Some may play, but not post either schedules or scores.. perhaps even scheduling as the season progresses as they see Varsity bench players having games available (25 game limit)

Schedules may get posted, but likely not until Oct, Nov.... a pretty low spot on the priority list.....

Hopefan does a review/comparison of each of the SLIAC team's schedules when they all have been released... we are still waiting on MacMuray, Eureka, and Greenville... Blackburn, Fontbonne, Iowa Wesleyan, Principia, Spalding, Westminster, and Webster are each out there at their various sites...

Amusing timing.... less than 24 hours after this post was up, new site including schedules has now appeared for Greenville ... nothing yet for Eureka... the New Mac site has obviously been there for a while, but there is not reference to it on D3hoops.com or on the Mac.edu site, so how is the reader to know?

We find out about a lot of website changes the same way everyone else does... by either stumbling into them or seeing them posted or mentioned here or elsewhere. Especially when there has been a web address change! Old one still works.  ;D

Hope Fan:

Thanks for the heads up. I updated the links.

I'd love to put out my SLIAC schedule ratings, but we don't have a schedule posted by Eureka yet....  We may have to wait a while too... the Athletic Dept listing doesn't show an SID position, and the 'Coordinator of Athletic Communications' position is open!!

I have rated the schedules that are out there for the other nine schools... and WUH may be surprised that Webster is not my top rated schedule(emphasis on word MY) . :o :o

I love being surprised, but I have to be honest, the Webster schedule was the first that I looked at.

Fontbonne also has a schedule that includes Division II Maryville and Augustana and they have to play Washington University on the road.  Fontbonne is also playing two NAIA schools on the road in Florida.

Actually, given the 4 Eureka non conference opponents (of 7) that I'm already aware of (Dominican, Rockford, Knox, and Monmouth...a combined record of 33-63 last season), Eureka's schedule will be in the bottom 3 no matter who the missing games are against..... but we'll wait to see...

While I enjoyed reading the D3hoops.com front page mention of several D3 matchups vs D1 schools, including the incredible experience for old favorite Hope College going to
Indiana,   I was disappointed not to see a mention of the Nov. 4 matchup of D3 Greenville vs St. Louis University.  Greenville assumedly continues into its 2nd year using the system, minus their best perimeter shooter Tim Daniel lost to graduation.  St Louis U introduces their new coach, Travis Ford, to game action, with a very skinny roster decimated by house cleaning and waiting for several quality transfers sitting out for a year.   Billikin fans who know nothing about D3 or the system should be in for a treat regardless of the quality of play Greenville shows... the system is always fun to watch...

Can't mention every single game D3 is playing vs. D1 when the article says here are a "handful" of games. :)

I did not see this on the schedule, but Fontbonne also plays a regular season game against Division I Missouri State on November 17.  That would have been a good one for the D3Hoops.com feature, but I understand, I am not complaining.

If I were complaining, I would complain about the fact that Washington University was buried in the Whitewater-UW Wisconsin description.

As far as Fontbonne is concerned, I will be surprised if anyone else in the SLIAC plays a tougher schedule this season, but I'll wait for the review.

If you didn't see it on the schedule... we probably didn't see it, too. LOL

WUH, the Fontbonne game vs Missouri State is an Exhibition Game... Fontbonne's 7 non conference games are Augie, Wash U, D2 Maryville, Illinois Tech, Morthland, Warner (Fla.) and Webber International
