come on Pat  - you know me as a writer to know that I was not "griping" - Perhaps I could gripe that your response, after telling me that I was wrong (which I admittedly usually am) , and then seeing that I was right, would more appropriately have been, "oops, sorry hopefan, looked at it wrong - I'll get it fixed"   -  ANYONE, you or me,  can be a little sensitive.....

That's fine -- but it's certain that you would actually WANT the score fixed. If you only mention it on the board, then you are taking a chance that I will read the SLIAC board in a timely manner, not accidentally skim over the post in question, understand the vague reference and take action.

An e-mail, on the other hand, is very clear.

You know full well that this league is not very good with information. If schools don't report scores they aren't going to notice that the schedule was changed or was incorrectly input in the first place. So issues are frequent.

...While you push Springfield and I push St. Louis, I agree with the concept.  I obviously don't want to drive to Springfield nor you to St Louis, but either is better than having it at one of the conference's remotely located small towns - particularly on a Thursday night.

This is what I was referring to. No harm done, I was just kidding. You've had a rough enough day on this board. Speaking of Eureka, Mo., the SLIAC golf tournament will be held at Aberdeen. A couple of the guys of the EC golf team help at basketball games and have asked me about it. Any report?

FU has hosted the "Coach's Clasic Charity Tournament" twice at Aberdeen. It's a nice course kinda links but not. They will enjoy it.

Aberdeen - Lewis Road right before Eureka - a links kind of course - flat, tall grass if you miss the fairway,  some water - not particularly difficult - public.... drool when you drive by Pevely farms course on the way out Lewis to Aberdeen....
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

Hope- Only guys like you can afford to play at Pevely.

I was kind of interested in reading Beaver_SID's take on the game Saturday. FU didn't impress him with the 97-78 win at @BC. I just wonder if FU impressed him with the 93-75 win Saturday.

Hope if FU could fool around and win this thing and host. I'll put you and the wife up at your favorite entertainment destination for the weekend. If you were a TRUE D3 fan you two would go with us to Europe. It looks like it may turn into a big group. Travel with your own fans. But, I'm sure that MU will be taking a nice trip somewher next year ;D ;D

Kudos Pat - I walked the FU SID through the process of reporting scores. I'm going to try giving him a hand.

Well, all I can say is that it's crunch time for the Greenville Panthers. I'm talking Do or Die. The game against Webster could have some serious implications on whether the Panthers are able to seriously keep the season alive or not. With all that said, I hope that Greenville's coach refrains from bonehead decisions that could potentially cost his team the game. As well, I would like to see less turnovers from the Panthers and more intense defense. If those three things come to light during tomorrow's game, I think the Panthers' chances of victory are as good as anybody else's.

Okay, I have to nip this one in the bud again.  I can tolerate talking about what the team needs to do, but quit bad mouthing Coach Barber.  He does what he feels he needs to do to get his team the win.  If you feel what he does in "boneheaded" then go deal with someone else.  I really do not take lightly people pouncing on coaches.  This is the second time you have said something C-111087.   >:(  Not a happy camper with this dude.

I always thought Coach Barber got the best out of what he had to work with. The FU squad goes to Fulton on the heals of a big BlueJay win. I know FU won by 18 at home. Does anyone think the Griffin's have enough to go to WC and win.
