Well FC - I guess we disagree again - though I did use the verb 'could be' - as I realize there's lots of hoops to be played this season.  And you're hanging your hat heavy on two nights of hoops last year - I haven't seen that player this year except for brief moments, and I sure didn't see that level of play most of last year.  Keep shootin kid, keep shootin.....

That same kid this year is:
#8 - 14.1 ppg, tied #1 - 3.45 apg, #4 steals, #6 3pt% .429, #6 3pt made, #6 blocks, #2 assist/turnover......
Through seven games.

Hopefan - did you see Coe@WashU ? Any comparisons in games?

Sounds like we have the battle of the McCoy's heating up. Now if we just had a couple of kids named Hatfield in the conference...

+ karma for that one Yjak, and I RAREly play with Karma!!!!

One BIG difference FC  -  Coe's offense was almost entiely perimeter against Wash U  -  Kuenstlin, Coes big man had 2 hoops, and Ruths had a career high 35 vs him.  Vs Maryville Kuenstling scored at will  - 32 points - though finally later in the second half, Maryvilles guards started diving down at him when he got the ball and his output decreased.  Fontbonne big men could have a field day vs MU if Font Mckoy gets the ball past MU Mckoy and inside.  Baker/Holland/ Steincke - not a strong inside game....  though Baker is much improved and stronger than the skinny frosh I remember from 2 years ago.

For anyone interested -- I will be getting occasional phone calls with game updates of the Webster-MSOE game tomorrow (Tues 12/18) night. I will post scores and any other information I'm given as I get it.

AAAH  I imagine Long Distance Traveller will be supplying the info!!!!

Actually, Long Distance Traveler's better half has offered to keep me posted.

Long Distance Traveler

For anyone who is interested the MSOE website indicates that it will be broadcasting the game tomorrow night against Webster.  Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 pm.  The address below is for their website.  And yes my better half will be phoning back with updates to several parents/fans if the website is not broadcasting

Thanks for the link, LDT. I was going to check tonight to see if the game might be broadcast online. I'll tune in and save your better half some cell phone minutes.

Yjak -I likely won't be able to pickup the netcast on our antiquated phone line hookup out here in the pucks, so the more updates you provide, the more I will enjoy.   MSOE is 5-3, has played pretty decent competition - will be a test for Webster.

hope, the broadcast from MSOE requires QuickTime, which I have just installed. Fingers crossed that it will work when I try to connect tomorrow night. If not the phone calls will have to suffice.

Just looking at MSOE's roster, it appears this will be a good match up size wise.

WC now has two games to reschedule. Central and Il. College

Didn't think I was going to get the broadcast, but it finally came on. The announcers said that Wester is coached by Chris Brunch.
