What can you tell me about Hope International (GCAC)

Fontbonne picked one of the two GSAC schools that a decent D-III team should beat. The Royals are definitely better than Moody Bible Institute. Is Fontbonne as good as Claremont? The Stags beat HIU @ Hope. Here's the box score:

Claremont 61, Hope International 58

Enjoy your trip to California.

This game scares me. Did anyone see Claremont play at Wash U.?

RMC 45 - Thanks for joining us. Yes you guys do play hard. It was everybodies opinion after the Fontbonne game, that you were one player away from being a very very good team.

right_guard

rmc-45, you guys played very well against BC and totally deserved the win, as for BC, 2 extremely bad losses in the last 2 games,  losing by a total of 84 pts in these 2 games....rmc said they have heart.....BC doesnt seem to have any at the moment.  I dont see them having much of a chance the rest of the season if they continue to play they way they have lately.  While there has been a couple bright spots here and there, as a whole it isnt very good.  hopefully something happens during the break to get this team back into form.  Its hard to believe after the effort they showed against RMC the first time around, and Maryville, that they would come back and play as horribly as they have.

Thanks Pride- A true SLIAC supporter!!!!
FU jumped out to 38-23 first half lead. Griffin's were led by Branch with 17 in the first half. 2nd half fatigue really set in (5am arrival at airport). HIU's full court press caused some problems for a gassed Griffin squad. FU's defense was the difference, holding the Royals to 32%fg and 18%3pt.
Branch - 24
Fogerty - 15
Fourniev- 10
Storandt - 12 rebounds and great defense

HIU was a much bigger team man for man. A great effort by the STL.
Quick turn around for Caltech tommorrow evening.

Matt Rogers of Maryville threw out an interesting line in a blog he writes - a surprise addition in the second semester that will help greatly during conference play - to be revealed after everyone gets back from break.

It's a real teaser - old heads that I can think of would be either of the Vandenhuevals - (would they help the program?)  -  or Tyler Saxton, who transferred to St Norbert's - he was on their roster very early in the school year, but his name disappeared from it before the season started - now if he decided to come back, he could fit in, but hopefully would be used in a different role than last year (way too many 3 point attempts with a very low % made).

Otherwise, I would think a transfer??  and that could be anyone.....

You are so right. Water cold. Women Hot.
Very interesting experience last night at Caltech. Learned alot of history about Quantum Hoops. Good crowd for the women's game. Attendance for men's game, 26. That didn't include FU's women's team. Josh Branch led the Griffin's with 21 pts. and had 9 defensive rebounds. T. Love had a double-double 10 and 11. I won't include any other stats because the Caltech stat crew totally screwed up the stats. They had the final score correct at 65, but in the individual stats they only had FU scoring 60. They are very talented with Aero Space but stat crew gave them trouble.

Back to to sighting seeing in the sand.
