Ok, i apologize for the name thing, as i stated before, i refer to him as Coach when i see him. So sorry about that. I speak to all players about what can be done to improve their game and what their coaches that they have had/have could improve on. I think that is an area that he can work on. Im not saying that i want him fired and banned from the SLIAC so lets not get all hasty. Personally i dont think any players get enough credit for what they do on their own time at a D3 level in any sport. The work that i see is strictly for their own personally satisfaction. I'm sorry if anyone takes my opinion to heart. My own feelings on things. FC, Darrin is not saying that he dislikes Coach Bunch or wishes anything negative on him, you are correct in saying this.

The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

Thanks for those comments Depew. I'm off that subject now. Hope it's warm where I am.

I think Tim should lobby for a call in show about D3 hoops!!!!  Or a round table where the primary writers on this site squared off on various subjects that Tim would put forth....   I can see it now - Tim Elwell, the Howard Stern of D3hoops - FC, Yjak, Bunchtime and I could be his wackpack!!!    :D :D

Of course, there already is a radio show about D3hoops. It's called Hoopsville and it airs Sunday nights.

I know you're probably talking about a SLIAC hoops show, but for those who don't know, a D-III show already exists.

well aware Pat  -  this would be a 'localized show'  -  not sure who our audience would be.....  But I'm sure we'd have them rolling in the aisles!!! ::)

My last comment and I am done.  Depew, you say that "Coach can do some things better."  Who are you, or me for that matter, to question him?  Coach Bunch has been around the game longer then you have been alive, and has been extremely successful too.  So to question his coaching philsophies is ludicrous.  If Coach Bunch asked me to run through a wall, I would have done it without questioning him because I know he has the team and my own best interests in mind -- and that can be said about all his coaching philosphies and decisions.  Like I said, we can only go off the numbers and his coaching philosophies seem to working just fine.  Quit questioning such a successful man who has more wins then you could only dream of.  Done!

Regarding this ongoing controversy about what Darin thinks or feels, I think it is always wrong to say on this site, or any other posting site, what someone else has said. That is strictly a third party opinion. It is an injustice and disrespectful to the name that is being bandied about, and I feel certain that the person being "quoted" would rather it not be done.

Josue Whitcomb did indeed go on a run by himself last night. It is great to see him do that.

"Depew - If you have elgibility left, Mac could probably use the roster players."

Not sure what that's supposed to mean, fcnews. Hope it was a meaningless jab. Mac is proud of its tradition and program, even during the lean years.

Mac will be hanging its 2006-2007 SLIAC co-championship banner at one of its Saturday home games in February. There will be a brief ceremoney between the men's and women's games honoring the team. What a great bunch of kids.

Fontbonne comes to Mac on Saturday. Hope Mac doesn't lose any of it's players, as they did last year with Jerel Robertson.

Great win for the Gorloks last night. Disappointed to see that Maryville had some players that were unable to play and hope for a quick return.

Elwells2Short, you are right in that the game was not on webcast nor was the live stat feed.  That's alright though, because I was happy with the result.  I appreciate your efforts in even attempting to get it back on track.

fcnews thats garbage....you sit here and act like you just give respect to players but sure enough look at you trying to take low blows at MacMurray players.  Jerel Robertson did get undercut last year and you sit there and act like the game last year was all MacMurray and Brady Green when you should open your eyes, it takes 2.  Storandt last year was a dirty along with a few others....Thats pretty narrow minded dont you think considering Fontbonne is one of the least classiest team in the SLIAC. So what if you think Brady Green needs a hair cut.  That is not your call and not your business so mind your own, instead of trying to degrade an athlete why dont you talk about the game and not whether someone of not your concern needs a haircutt.  You just showed your true colors....

I'm just glad Brady Greene will be on the bench keeping stats. That way I won't have to worry about him trying to blind side Fogerty, while Brian's on a break away.

Hahaha. We must have been at two different games. BREAKAWAY!?!? Fogerty was on the right block, received a pass from the opposite ELBOW, and was wide open for a 2 foot layup. Greene, who was guarding the ELBOW, used his lightening quick agility to defend Fogerty who was going in for an uncontested layup. Greene took a completely legal swipe (going for the ball) at Fogerty's HANDS to prevent the layup. I repeat...HANDS. This was not the "Fogerty got blindsided and is lucky to be here today" foul story that FCnews has been spinning the past year.  It was a hard, but more importantly, legal, foul. This is exactly what happened. People have every right to take exception to the play, I'd just like to make sure they know exactly what went on.

And no, Brady does not need a hair cut.

As I've said before, Good luck to Coach Creale and his squad. And Brady, if you do read this site, if you saw my hair in the 70's you'd know I'd be the last to suggest anyone needed a hair cut.

FU Fan

A great game at FU last night.
I can see why WC is holding opponents down on totals.
Both teams played well defensively. It was a nail biter.I think the clock ran out about 4-5 times. Look out at there house.
THESE guys all played as hard as I've seen anyone play. EVERY ONE OF THEM BOTH SIDES.
And are all conference scoring records set in really close games ?
I don't think so. Some yes, but I would say mostly that's not true. McCoy, although not scoring a lot last night played an awfully good game. Give the guy some credit. When your close to getting that done YOU LET HIM DO IT.
Same on triple figures. Prin handles the ball pretty well I thought they just don't seem to finish.
The Mac / FU game last year ?
Your going back to officiating again.
Question why has a boxscore not shown up for the LCC/ FU game ?

fcnews

FU Fan - LCC being the home team is responsible for the stats. FU has a copy of the stats. It is a matter of LCC sending the FU SID the "statcrew program file" so it can be downloaded to the SLIAC website. FU received the women's game file yesterday and was suppose to get the men's file some time late this afternoon. I'm not sure if was recieved, yet.
