shoot FC, I owe you such big time for this past weekend - you will get a running discourse on the whole weekend!!!!

(Went to an inlaw wedding this past weekend... got approx 10 texts from FC and about 20 from SAC (MIAA room)  keeping me right up to date on Wash U and Hope)

Well the SLIAC Room will be represented at the D3 Final Four in Salem this weekend - I'll be picking up Yjak at 3:00 AM Friday morn - the 11 additional hours with limited stops and hopefully no tickets shoud get us to Salem Va in plenty of time for the opening tip....   If I can't watch a SLIAC team in the final 4, there's no one I'd rather watch than Wash U and Hope.

Quite seriously, if any other reader/poster is interested in coming along, PM me  -  the more the merrier  -  haven't been able to talk FC into coming along yet!!!    Eureka SID, how about it????

That's a tempting offer, Hope. All except for that departure time. Oh, and I'm half afraid to be in a car you're driving after that raccoon story, or whatever it was, after your journey to Westminster this year. Maybe next year...

Bear Eureka SID, it was a bear...   Hope EC's spring season goes well!!!

Bear certainly sounds more exciting than raccoon (and I know hopefan is exaggerating just for the fun of it), but it was a fox. I know because I saw it, and hopefan didn't. So, eureka_sid, you are right to be concerned about being in a car with hopefan driving -- he can't see things that are right in front of him. How he didn't see it, I'll never know. But I've lived probably 2/3 or more of my life, so I no longer worry about who I'm riding with. You, on the other hand, may have another 70 or more years to live.

Easy there yjak, or I may shoot to do the 725 miles to Salem in 10 hours including stops..... ::)

The Chevy Chase movie "Vacation" comes to mind.

Hopefan - Does your estimated driving time included casino stops?

Fellow SLIAC Posters - Tomorrow marks my time to return to Branson. It's been another great year of SLIAC basketball. The best ticket in town. Thanks to all of you for supporting the Griffin's in the their efforts in the national tourney. If if's and butt's were chips and nuts, we could have a party. Next years plan will again be to take no prisoners.

Like last year at this time we'll except the bulls eye. FU returns the top three scorers in the conference and the top rebounder and shot blocker. Not to mention the POY. With the addition of two more committments this week FU's recruiting campaign is basically done.

Bunchtime, Pride, Y_jak and Hopefan - Your all welcome to come to the lakes for a weekend of golf and shows. Oh and my good friend Furbug, thanks for the emails, it was good to get to know you this year.

To the crew heading to Salem - Please be careful on the roads.

As FC heads to the Ozarks, I'll be the one to announce that Brian Fogerty of Fontbonne has been selected to the D3Hoops All Region 3rd Team - only the 4th SLIAC player to be recognized in the 7 year history of the awards.

Well deserved, congrats to Brian and Coach McKinney, and to FCnews

Ditto what hopefan just said.

And fc, thanks for your concern for us as we travel to Salem. I trust hopefan totally. This may be the only time thnigs line up this way to make it a truly meaningful trip. I wouldn't go to see just any teams -- only a SLIAC team, Wash U, or Randolph-Macon.

Wow my Karma dropped 7 points in one day. I feel like Bear Stearns. I take that as a compliment, it means at least someone is reading my posts. Just keep pounding that smite button.

Like I tried to explain to someone the other day, Karma is just a tally that the Hall of Famers can sit around and brag about.

This site promotes "Yes Men". Heaven for bid you have an opinion that differs from those posters with legendary status. Well as long as this is a public forum, I will voice my opinions and defend them the best I can. You don't have to agree with them. In this country you have a right to your own opinion. That's what we fight to protect.

I guess this should drive home the point to you that I am not the only person who disagrees with your position.
