FC - glad I picked the Griffs as my co- favorite with Greenville!!!! Are D3hoops posters allowed to sneak a peek at the goings on in the gym?

Another thought - Aug 19 - man, they start classes early these days!!!!

Good to have you back in the Big City, FC - life is now a little bit more normal!!!!

Big difference. FU does not place as much importance in the conference race. As it does in finishing the year strong, with momentum going into post season.

FU is a public campus. The Cafe' sells a mean salad. And it's a great view of the floor.

There is a very good chance that FU's game @ LCC will be cancelled. FU is in conversation for a regular season game with a D1 opponent.

Fontbonne has added Oakland City in Indiana to it's schedule has an exhibition game.

I'm hoping that Oakland City is not the Division 1 game that FC referred to, because Oakland City is not Division 1..... Oakland University from Michigan is Divsion 1, possibly leading to FC's comment. Oakland City plays a bizarre schedule that last year ranged from a couple of Divsion 1 schools all the way down the basketball ladder to Lincoln Christian and Concordia St Louis!!! An article regarding their best player said he Was an NCCAA D1 (National Christian College) All American, and was rated No1 in NCAA D2 rebounding - perhaps indicating a dual membership.

FC - is this the school you were referring to when you said a game vs a D1 school, or is there another game to be announced?

No Hopefan. We would not drop a regular season game for an exhibition against D2 dual Ok City Indiana. I will definately post, if and when, the reg season D1 contest is finalized.

This is getting really boring only discussing the good, the bad and the ugly of FU basketball.

Maybe we need to just wait till closer to the season when there is other institutions with news.

On the other hand, it's keeping somebody entertained... we're averaging over 150 hits per day - figuring you, Yjack and I are about 20 of them, that's a lot of hits... I do wish our newer faces would post more often; the stuff they have written has been good.....

How do you know how many hits this board gets? Other possibilities are coaches, players, etc, from other confernce schools just checking things out. That might not count for 130, though. There seems to be a certain 6-10 people who frequent almost the entire menu of boards on the website, so there's a few more.

And yes, the new contributors are good. Hope to hear more from them.

Yjak - the numbers of views and posts are listed on the previous page - and for the last several weeks I've been tracking the number each day - just to see....remember, I'm a numbers guy. And whether it's coaches or D3hoops admin or whoever, it's of interest - if it bores anyone, the option is not to read it. I enjoy the chatter with FC about Fontbonne hoops - I'm sorry if it bores him....

yjak - incidently - I UNDERspoke - since I started tracking at the beginning of August, the SLIAC room is averaging close to 290 views per day

Hope - You never answered my question from my 8/21 post.

Yjak - We can now move our interest and efforts to the SLIAC soccer boards.

Till BBall practice starts in October.
