Eureka comes back from the great win vs Rockford

Great win against Rockford ?? I'll agree that the Regents have improved but don't make them sound like North Carolina. This isn't that big of deal.

It is in the SLIAC, when Rockford had previously beat Greenville.

Guys  - the live stats just changed on me and now says Rhodes is beating Greenville 69-67...  I had posted that Greenville was a 67-66 winner as that was what the scoreboard read....  the scoreboard and game summary has been frozen with 5 seconds left on the clock for the last 10 minutes, and Greenville had the ball..... but I'm now assuming that Rhodes is the winner......

What a tough night for the SLIAC   ...   Hendrix beats Westminster, 80-78 :-\ :(

FU plays Moody today @ noon.

Story of last nites game. FU is up 4 with :54 left and the ball. up 2 with :11 and the ball. Branch still has a wide open shot to win in regulation. In OT, both seniors miss front ends of 1and 1's. Yes only in the bonus during OT.

I think the same officials doing today's O State v. Michigan football game, were on our game. Just let them play. Which is fine with me, except HLG started 6'8. 6'7, 6'6. And had a 6'10 back up post. FU will have a tough time matching up with this kind of size.

Branch had 32 pts (on 23 shots ???) and Scheetz had 18 (played well). Chris Forrest had just 7 pts.

I didn't think we would be in this game. But, we were and should of pocketed it in regulation.

Noticed in the Wheaton boxscore that former SLIAC Newcomer of the Year Ben Cochran saw no time.

I noticed the same regarding Cochrane - also looked up his bio and noticed a new hairdo from what I remember.  If Basketball is important to him, and perhaps it is no longer playing a critical role in his life, I feel bad for him   -   he was a fun player to watch, and I hope he doesn't feel he made a horrible decision in transferring if he doesn't fit into Wheaton's plans on the court....

Webster loses 84-70 at Maryville (TN). Westmin beats Rhodes by 1. Four scores still not yet reported.

hopefan

Fontbonne and Westmin are the Sliac's only wins.... Spalding and Greenville lose close, Eureka acquits itself well vs D1 Eastern Ill, Mac down to Augie.   SLIAC is 2-9 on the weekend, let's hope for a Webster win today....  the old men travel to Bloomington to watch Wash U.

FU wins 72-57.

FC can we get a little breakdown on this match? Won by 15 only? Is Moody getting better or FU getting worse? I expected the pounding you put on them a couple years ago, but I noticed they "kept it close" this year and last. Any thoughts?
