It was no warmer on their side. The more talented team won easily. The stats are probably up. Mcafee was incredible. Can see why Butler took a look at him for a year. Bashed still the big man. Freshmen needs a year.

Ray went down. Stats show No on could hit a shot. Or stop mcafee.

Bout all I got sir.

How about this for starters:
1. There are only 27 D III Conferences rated higher in the Massey ratings that the SLIAC.
2. Wash U is nothing but a SLIAC wannabee.
3. How could any red blooded American male not want to spend a cold January Wednesday night cheering for the Battling Beavers?
4. Rumor has it that Walgreens will soon open a branch store on Principia's campus.
5. Lee McKinney invented basketball

You should keep in mind that this thread is patrolled by fans of the other conferences as well.  I have to wonder how much karma I would lose if I take you to task for No. 2.  No matter, No. 4 is the real puzzler.  There must be a joke there somewhere, right?

I am telling you I am going to get my Karma above the freezing line, one way or another.

For what it is worth, as a fellow redhead, I like the new you.  You clearly know a lot about St. Louis area sports so just keep this up.  Though I have no idea why you think Fontbonne has the most talent in the conference.  That is the real puzzler.

Principia is a Christian Science school.  Walgreens would get pretty lonely there! ;)

After a month long absence, I have finally caught up on my SLIAC message board reading.  As I mentioned in previous posts, I only get to a handful of Webster games every year, so what I offer here is fairly limited.  I was at the WU-Westminster game.  I continue to be impressed by Webster this year and their overall athleticism.

Needless to say, I agree with Denny that Coach Bunch certainly deserves a trip to dance in March.  I hope this is the year.  It seems to me that they are the favorites to win the SLIAC, but being a favorite doesn't guarantee anything if you can't go out each night and prove it.

I think Hope was right on when he alluded to the talent that Coach Bunch and Seiner have assembled at Webster... still need to add that one pure perimeter shooter.

Denny, I wish the best to your father as he battles cancer.... always enjoyed going to war against his teams and enjoyed our conversations we've shared over the years even more.  He's a good man and I wish the best for him.  My prayers are with him!

Sorry for the random thoughts.... I always enjoy reading posts from the regulars and throwing in my two cents from time to time.  It's good a place to stay up-to-date with the SLIAC.  Should be a great finish to the conference season!

Yeah, that is a good joke.

Mr. Bunchtime, Sir. And you've earned the right to be called Sir. Thank you and I will pass it on.

I got one more: The word on the street is that the King of Spin, our own FC News, and local radio bad boy Kevin Slaten will team up for a new drive time sports talk show on KMOX called Alice in Wonderland Sports Talk. Their motto will be: You didn't just see the game you thought you saw, you saw the game we are telling you you saw.

Don't press your luck. This is the kind of stuff that got people disliking you in the first place, although I never gave you negative karma. So if you are on a quest to redeem your reputation, then you might want to think twice before posting stuff like the above again

You complain about there being no activity on the board, so you take a nap. You are the shepherd of the sheep on this board and you fall asleep on us. Good thing a wolf didn't come along. :P

Denny McKinney

YJak - Are you sure there were no wolves in the Eureka area. Hope gone missing. I know how things pop up, hope nothing went bad.

I am a distant observer - seldom commenting but usually reading and I must say if I could give you karma RED...you'd have at least 10!
