I got a job, Thank you. So maybe you still have a chance at getting a Life.

I get less questions about my employment on first dates then this. :o :o ???

I married a true red head (twice) 5'11, we just got her thru stage 4 cancer. She hates this site. But, if she knew what was being said about her Father in Law, you'd see a true AA.

And she is a Fontbonne Grad class of 2000. Dad finally talked her into quitting a $40,000 a year job to come back to school. Graduated in 3 years. Oldest in her class. Went back to work at 2.5 times what she left.

We attended a FC game, at our old home at Concordia, on our Honeymoon nite. Then school Prez Dr. Dunham presented her with roses at Half. The announcer said only a McKinney would spend their Honeymoon nite at a basketball game.

She said that Tulsa has already had a record snow fall and it's still coming down.

That's Nice, Dennis

Tough week coming up for the Griffs

Long trip to Eureka on Saturday....  a MUST win

Superbowl Sunday...  hope they aren't Packer fans ;D ;D ;D

Over to Westminster on Monday

Hosting MacMurray on Wednesday

Hosting Spalding on the following Saturday

2-2   likely a goodbye to playoff hopes

3-1   still in it, but would need to keep it going

4-0   would be in the thick of things.....

this is a team that needed a miracle comeback to beat an outmanned Principia team...  can they win at Eureka, much less beat any of the other 3....  like I said, tough week

No Redhead it's actually Really Nice. And, keeps getting better.

Hopefan we just got a win. I wouldn't be looking any further then Monday.

Denny McKinney

Actually with the snow it has worked out well. Dad is in the bad part of this cycle. Both FU and WC have tough road trips Saturday. And we play in Fulton the day before next infusion. Then a week of home games. Every game from here on out are must wins.

I do like the new enthusiasm. Mondays practice was spirited. I said this team needed to taste winning. IF we could win at EC and get these guys some confidence, Fulton may be more fun.

Denny McKinney

Hope - That outmanned PC team had WU down 13 at half. If they are hot they can make some games exciting.

Let's get some perspective here. According to the latest Massey Ratings, there are 1021 mens college ncaa basketball teams. in D III, the lowest, there are 411. Eureka is ranked - of all NCAA teams - 1012 out of 1021. And it sounds like their best player may be gone. A win at Eureka would not exactly go down in history as comparable to the spartans holding off the pershians at thermopylae. Now a loss to them, well better start finding those 9 teams out of 1021 that fall below Eureka. Can someone say Moody Bible College. Now thats a confidence builder!

Come on folks, this board is dead with out me!!!!

I don't think we quite reached blizzard status. My place got about 4 inches of sleet before some snow. How bad is it out your Hopefan?

hopefan

My aching back......  about the same, but you have to chisel that sleet up!!!

After quite a busy day yesterday, we've gone quiet today....

Let's talk basketball, and probably get some controversy going.....

While sitting out the storm yesterday, I played around with rosters and stats in order to divvy up players by year.... Frosh, Soph, Jr,  Sr....  I went by what is on various school websites listed as the player's class

In general, I found...

The conference is top heavy Juniors and Seniors... particularly Juniors....  it appears we have a very soft Sophomore class (thank goodness for Spalding, who has a VERY good soph class), and the verdict is still out on the Frosh class as some teams had to use freshmen, others didn't...  but there are more frosh with numbers than sophs!

Another thing that jumped out at me...  Spalding will be loaded next year (are they eligible  for the conference tourney in 2011-12?) as they lose no criticals... and watch out for.... Blackburn.... they return ALL key players include 5 that will be seniors, and they've had some close games... they'll be tough in the matchbox.....

I will be putting out an All Class team for each of the classes in the very near future....when you see them, I guarantee you won't agree with all of my selections (that's what makes it fun), and you will see just how soft the sophomore class appears to be......

Hope....sounds like you are about to make it very interesting. :)

At least the snow was good for something!

hopefan

Just heard "on the street" (or "in a snowdrift"):
Dylan Burton of Mac indeed did have the flu... limited his minutes against Blackburn and unable to play at Spalding... he should be ready to go vs Webster....   That is great news, you always want to see teams have all their players for big games....

Also heard that poor Mac had a horrendous trip home from Spalding... they left Mac on Sunday for Louisville, and left Louisville right after Monday night game with full intention of going all the way home and beating the storm... they didn't beat it...  stranded in Indianapolis on Monday night, left motel early Tuesday morning and needed close to 12 more hours to get to Jacksonville....  fortunately no game to play until Saturday, hopefully they'll be recovered....
