Let's talk basketball, and probably get some controversy going.....

Didn't you mean discussion. That is what this board is for. What kind of controversy are you expecting, when discussing who returns next year?

Mac's bus driver drove right into the teeth of the storm. Indy? St. Louis and up they might of stood a chance.

Denny McKinney

Don't forget. Some schools show class as academic and some elgibility. What about med redshirts like EC's Jordan. Some frosh ( like FU ) had probable starters get seconds or less, because of season ending injuries. Some had players set out this year to get healthy ie: FU's John Reese.

But, Hey it will give us something to look at besides sleet/snow. ::) ;D

Denny McKinney

Bunchtime since your lurking. I asked a question about WU's Kuehl? And got no response. Anything?

Denny McKinney

Wow. 11 pt Karma drop in 10 days has to be a record. Three today for asking Hope about his snowfall. Love you All.

BunchTime

Denny, yes, my team did go play Maryville of TN my freshman year.  Coach Bunch was the assistant there and then came to Webster the following season.

Must have missed your question on Kuehl?

I am really hoping that Webster hosts this years SLIAC Tourney.  If so, a pre-game watering hole stop may be in order.

Denny McKinney

Well we will do our best next Monday to help out the hosting part.

Hopefan reported Kuehl had gone down with an injury about 4 games back. But, wouldn't answer any questions about his return. Thought you might know?

BunchTime

Unfortunately, I don't have news on his injury.  If I come across something, I'll pass it on.

Denny McKinney

Thanks Sir. It would be appreciated. Maybe this year you'll be the Gorlok's lucky charm. Since you've been on Hiatus. Hope all is going well. Waterhole sounds good. Coffee and $1 burgers and wings.

Daryl - Your invited also.

Daryl L Lloyd

Thanks Denny - but I'm living out of state now and rarely (never) get a chance to catch the alma mater play now a days.  once I get back up there I'm in.

Denny McKinney

Webster posters on board. Smells like Tourney Time.

Here is a nugget you may not of known. Brian Grasle is an asst at FU this year. Hoping the experience will help him land his hometown job.

He's been a big emotional lift for Dad. If I'm diving in a fox hole for battle, I'd definately want him in there with me.

D. L. Loyd - Where ya at? How is your brother?

Denny McKinney

Thanks for the Karma guys. Who would of thought two WU Alums would be the ones to come to my aide. Shows the rivalry is just on the court.

Even Spinner got his start at FU and former WU standout Ryan Good is still FU's baseball Head Coach and doing a good job.

BunchTime

The infamous Daryl L. Lloyd has returned... good to see you back on here, Lloyd!

Denny McKinney

Yep. He just got a + 1k for his return. Now there is a guy who could stir the pot.  ;D

Comments on the Webster - Wash U game

What the heck happened to Wash U????  They started out absolutely dominating the game... With Alex Kuhl apparently lost to Webster for the 2nd semester, Webster had nobody to match up with Toth, of Wash U, and between him and Spencer Gay, they just manhanlded Webster for 10 minutes around the basket...

Denny... you 'misremembered' my comment on Kuhl...  his first game out was the Wash U game and you can see what I wrote....  I did not attribute it to injury....
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!
