IWU has the Gorloks tomorrow in Bloomington.  What's the scouting report on Webster?  Probable starters here...

But some inside scoop is appreciated...thanks!

Good Luck TQ. We have not had a post out of the Webster camp. The only poster who saw them practice gave us " got alot big and strong guys". ??? ;D

I always knew Hopefan was a Huge Coach Rogers fan.

Hey Boys!  Thought I'd drop a line and say hello.

Definitely a tough way to open the season for my Panthers.  Not sure what the case is with Ellis.  I'll have to do some investigating.  Hopefully they can grab some wins at Rhodes against Rhodes and Hendrix.

Hope everyone is well.  I miss the old SLIAC!  :)

I was able to make it to the Central Mo and WC game tonight.  Obviously it is tough for any D3 team to play to #5 ranked D2 team in the nation, but WC did compete and they did play hard.  A positive to take out of this game is Tolson is very good.  He only had 7 points, but he made some tough shots and didn't play like a freshman.

This is the 2nd straight year that Westminster is 0-2, so I wouldn't jump off the ship yet.  The Blue Jays will need to play well in Memphis this weekend to try and even their record to 2-2.

Nice to hear from pantherpride. What are you doing these days, and where are you doing it? Still at Puget Sound?

hopefan

no no no   if memory serves me right, Panther took a DEMOTION from D3 Puget Sound to a D2 school in Colorado... so what if he doubled his salary!!! ;D ;D

Panther  -  come back to the BIG TIME!!!!

I'm not sure anyone has seen Webster, except for the one commemt referenced by fcnews. They did play an exhibition against D2 Drury on 11/12 which they lost 66-47. Heck, from where you live TQ you could havee gone down to see it.

Hey Pride's in the house. Colorado? I thought he was the new GM for the Seattle Mariners. Us lowly sliac folks have to bow in the presence of Grestness. ;D

Glad to hear from ya Kid.

Illinois Wesleyan, with a 3 pointer at the buzzer, goes up 6 at half over Webster.

Nick Jones not playing at all?   Hurt?   New names Strickland, Moore and Garret all very active for Webster.

Webster with 13 turnovers at half, IWU only 5.

Strickland is from Flo Valley and Moore is from Meremac. Both avg. about 10 ppg  last year. Strickland the slasher type and Moore is the better perimeter shooter.

Coming into this year. Both in the 6'-6'2 range. Depending on who's standing next to them. ;D

Titans pulling away  51-35, 10 mins left   -   gorlocks can't score

The starting five for Westminster was wrong on the initial stats at Illinois College.  But, don't worry about the Blue Jays. It is not easy to replace three starters, and Ky Millard played soccer and is not yet in basketball shape. When the heart of the conference schedule begins in January, Westminster will be road tested. The Blue Jay men don't play at home until January 2.

Stay tuned!
