I am surprised that finals are this week at FU. They are next week at Webster.  ???

To my way of thinking, MOST d3 schools would not be travelling during finals.   They might have a home game during the week, or a road game during the weekend, but not a middle of the night return with a final the next day....    ah well, it was a long time ago

note, I pulled a few all nighters playing poker, can't ever remember doing it to 'nurde'.  And that's when we played GOOD games, Chicago, dueces wild, follow the queen, lots of imaginative high low games....  none of this Texas Hold em where you fold 9 out of 10 hands!!! ;D ;D ;D

Well, at least the Fontbonne ladies don't have to travel to Wash U tonight ;D ;D
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

I might add that FU has tried to schedule Wash U as a doubleheader. This has been shot down the past couple of years.

Just want to say that I know it is a TEAM game and it takes a whole team to win. I am just saying that J. Branch play has been the reason why they have won or why they have came close in thier games. He is just not scoring, he is making assits, rebounds, and steals. All I got to say is.....
22 Branch, Joshua...... *  8-13 fg   5-9 3pt    6-7 ft.   0  2  2   0  27tp  0  2  0  0  36mn
That is a good line of stats. He is just scoring out of will and dont forget, he had a BIg ankle Injury. Forrest starts playing like we thought he would then they will start winning. What happen to the big recruit of F. Flemming? Not really the player you talked about earlier in the your FCNEWS? Bad Scouting Report? You compared him to Forrest...Not sure if you could even compare him to J. Buford? Both have not done anything?

Finals officially start today at Washington University, but many started exams last week.  The funny thing about the game at Fontbonne tonight is that many of the girls live in residence halls that are closer to the Fontbonne gym than to the WUSTL Athletic Complex.

I like the idea of a Fontbonne Men's and Women's double-header.

LOTG - I must be confused. You say Branch not only scores but contributes with rebounds, steals, and assists. Then you post the boxscore from the Elmhurst game where he had 2 rebounds, 0 assists, and 0 steals? Am i missing something?????

That's OK Frostbite. He also missed Flemming's 11 pts and 7 rebounds. In 25 minutes. I'm sure boxscore reading is not a class at Harvard. Chris Forrest will pick up his scoring, but 0 rebs. last nite?

FU's last win was with balanced scoring. Plus someone has to play defense.

We've now established that LOTG is just here to pump up his friend and take a few swipes at me. And, I don't have a problem with a fan having a favorite player.

Let's not forget that the other coaches pick the POTY. Josh is trying to overcome some attitude problems in the past. This year has been better. But, will the other coaches recognize it.

DObserver - If your speaking of the Mac v. WU game, we are not yet getting any info out of Jacksonville.

distantobserver

Darn - looks like Mac pumped up the defense or ?? - WU % from the floor went to 35% - 3 pt 3-13  - ttl 10-28 in the 2nd half.

Hard to tell - stats can only show one side of the story.

Any update on the GC & EC game tonight would be great and of course after the game comentary!
